Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler, Black

I am a former hairstylist with 22 years in the industry, so when ever I see a new styling tool, I want to try it. I love this one, for a few reasons: You can get a salon finished look to your hair and it dries fast. Your hair will look healthy. You hair will have tremendous volume and fullness. You can do it yourself at home. There a few things to remember. This is a paddle brush and great for straight styles. Probably best on medium to long hair. If you don't want a totally straight look, you can flip your ends up or under, it will work with the paddle brush. The best way to use this is by sectioning your hair off, starting at the nape of the neck and working your way up. Once a section is dry and still warm, give it a shot of cool air to set it in. This will also help to close the cuticle layer of your hair and give it a polished look. For volume always lift up and off the scalp as you are drying. Use a styling product for best results. You can also use this tool to freshen up your do, if you've slept on it and just want to revive your style, you can use it on dry hair, you don't want to start from scratch. My only issue with this styler is it's size. It may be a little big and not the most ergonomic for some people, but with a little practice, the finished style is worth the effort. I recommend it for fabulous looking hair.

I have always had hair that does this frizzy/ curly end result if I just go ahead and let my hair dry naturally. It has been a constant battle my entire life. We all know using a hair dryer can really dry your hair out. So needing to find a way to both dry and style my hair became very important. Up until now - this was almost impossible.So I decided to try the new Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler and the results are totally amazing , I used it right after shampooing my hair after towel drying first. And the results were absolutely amazing. I also wanted to try using the new Revlon Hair Dryer while my hair was just slightly damp and the results using it this way were also amazing. Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler was very easy to use and fast - normally it takes me a good amount of time to dry my hair and 'hope' it comes out with good results. Now using the Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler - I know my hair will turn out absolutely amazing every single time. My friends asked me what I did differently - using this product is the only thing that I've done differently. I love it and will keep using it. And also recommend it to anyone who would like to try out a new way to dry and style their own hair.

When I first received this dryer I was concerned that it was too large and potentially unmanageable. However, with the swivel cord I was able to easily use it without getting tangled in the cord. Though large in my hand, it is light weight and the location of the controls are easy to reach while in use. With my thinning hair, I need as much volume as possible. This dryer's high speed functions better than a diffuser on a regular blow dryer, and the dryer head allows me to style my hair at the same time as I dry it. I no longer have to try to use a brush and a dryer. I can do both with one hand. I use the high setting for a couple of minutes, low for a couple of minutes, and finish with cool. I have never been able to blow dry my hair like my hair dresser does until now with this dryer.

It smoothes, dries and styles your hair in less time than it takes to dry your hair and style with a flat iron or curling iron. My hair dried so quickly. I was surprised. It has a large paddle brush style head. It's a little heavy but not as heavy as some other hair dryers I have been over the years. I also thought the handle took getting used to because it's larger than what I'm used to. It's a little thicker making it a little harder to hold than a regular hair dryer. The electric cord is a swivel-type so it does not tangle like others cords. It is really good at straightening wavy or curly hair. It also has a 3-year limited warranty (Yahoooo!!). It's not quite as noisy as regular hair dryer and seemed that it kept fly aways and frizz to a minimum. This is a perfect gift and the price is reasonable.

I have very long hair and always have to use a blow dryer,brush and then a flatiron. This New Revlon Pro Collection one step Hair Dryer and Styler do all that in one step ! The brush is soft the tips of the brush is coated with a easy soft little balls that separate my hair and the paddle is big to dry big sections at one time. I did not have to worry about burning my hair because it has a auto shut off if the heat gets to hot. There are three heat settings cool,low and high. It's a very pretty shade of hot pink. Very modern looking. The cord is a swivel so it don't tangle up.It's not very heavy at all.There is IONIC conditioning in the dryer that helps to eliminate static and frizz that enhances shine for silky smooth results.You can even use it on the cool setting to just freshen up your hair. My hair was shiny and straight after I used the Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler. I absolutely love my Revlon Pro collection Hair Dryer and styler. Be a wonderful gift for the holidays or a birthday . I can see tweens and teenagers loving this!

I am not very good at drying and styling my hair, especially having very thick hair. I have only used it a few times and each time I got the results I wanted , which was to dry my hair getting the layers in the front of my face to lay the way I wanted them to without spending hours to get them to look right and not get frizzy hair . The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 out 5 was that I found the brush part to be a little large and it would be better if it was slightly smaller or it came with changeable brush heads . Apart from that though I couldn't fault it and it was nice to dry my hair without it going frizzy. It really was very easy to use especially if, like myself, you find it difficult to style your hair with a dryer & brush as you never seem to have enough hands. With this product having 2 hands is really enough. It also doesn't seem to overheat it after using for more then 20 minutes and the parts that do heat up cool very quickly.

Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler product that I just tested its little bit different than I am used to. Sometimes when I wish to straightening my hair it's hard if you don't use or have right product. This item seems very good thing because you can straighten and dry hair at same time any time you want at privacy of your home. After trying Revlon Hair Dryer and Styler, I am very appreciative with functionality it performs. There is some design flaws for me as older women, because handle is thicker and it is not comfortable holding it for longer period (5-15 minutes) because it seems very heavy. Everything else seems very good made from material to overall design. Also it is very easy to store or carry with you on trip if you have to. Using this product is very easy. There are three heat settings: cool, low and high. Brush paddle is wide so it covers large portion of hair for quicker drying and styling. Revlon does claim that this type of Hair Dryer and Styler produce less damage on hair. Also is has swivel power cord so it is tangle-free. Directions are also included if you need it. I would recommend any one I know if they need new hair dryer to replace with this design instead of conventional dryer.

I got this in the hope that it might minimise the whinging that accompanies post-bath hair brushing and drying with my 4 year old daughter. The seating of the bristles is very soft, so it doesn't offer any resistance to knotted hair; the bristles simply bend instead of actually brushing. But using the low setting after brushing with a proper brush it is definitely quicker than an ordinary dryer and saved us a final brushing once dry. The hot air only vents out of the top half of the ‘paddle' of the brush, so the bottom half only contributes to brushing and not to drying. I tried the cold shot and couldn't feel any change from the low setting; possibly because the inside of the dryer-styler is already hot and will naturally take some time to cool. I didn't wait to find out how long. On my hair, shoulder length and very fine, it's really just a fancy hairdryer. It works, and is still quicker than an ordinary dryer as it does remove the need for some brushing, but it certainly didn't leave my hair smooth enough for me to go without flat ironing afterwards. It saved me a bit of time, but not much. I wasn't concerned about the heat at the end of the dryer-styler, which is one of the warnings on the packaging. However, it is quite big and unwieldy, the handle is certainly much thicker than an average dryer, and the weight is not well balanced along its length.

I was able to use and review the Revlon Style and Dry 2 in 1 Hair Dryer. It is a very ingenious idea and I just had to try it because I absolutely cannot use a brush and hair dryer at the same time. There is a high, low and cool setting. The power is in the base of the handle and you twist it to get to the heat setting you want. The plug comes with a built in circuit breaker as do most hair dryers and the cord is a tangle free swivel cord. The brush bristles are soft and pliable yet sturdy enough to get thru the hair easily. This hair dryer makes dealing with the back of your hair easier and it leaves your hair smooth and static free. My hair is fine and has terrible static, but after using this hair dryer there is little to no static when I'm done. Although it is effective at what it does I do find it awkward to use. The most comfortable way for me to hold it is to have my hand across the back of the brush head, which would be fine but that area gets burning hot so I can't keep my hand there. There is a notice that comes with it that mentions that the casing getting very hot to the touch is part of normal operation so that is not something wrong with it, but it is something I don't really like. The heat is all coming out of the top of the brush head so it almost seems like if you hold it off your head and just brush your hair with the top few bristles it would be more effective. That's really the biggest thing I do not like about it. It would be better if the air came out in other places along the brush head. Using this hair dryer did not shorten my styling time, which honestly isn't that long to start with. I have not yet been able to get my hair completely dry in under the amount of time I usually do. The unit is advertised as being lightweight but I think it's kind of heavy. That could be due to how awkward it feels to me though. Overall it's not a bad hair dryer and I will definitely use it.

I received the Revlon Style and Dry 2 in 1 Dryer in return for this review. This dryer has 3 settings two hot high and low, however there is only a high cool setting. There isn't a low cool setting, which I usually use for styling. The brush is rather large for short hair but, good for medium to long hair lengths. The brush also has rubber tip bristles so it is easy on your hair and scalp, you will still need to comb your hair before starting . It is an ionic dryer and did leave my hair very smooth with no flyaway's, however it would be nice if you could change brush types to make styling better. I need a round brush for the ends of my hair, so I couldn't complete my styling with this tool. The large paddle style brush is better if your looking for very straight hair styles. The brush paddle is about 5 inches by 3 inches, just to give you an idea of size. All in all it's a good product for someone looking for smooth, straight long hair for the rest of us with shoulder length or shorter layered hair, it just not the right product.
