I have had a cfb885 for many years and loved it. A workhorse. Did everything I needed. I decided to get something a little more powerful so decided on the 850. Love it! I love the precision mode for lighter use. I have always wanted something like that. I also live the size of the 850. Love it
It was a bear tool, so I can't rate the battery life. But it is one of the best impact you can buy for the money. Decent amount of torque and charges quickly

Since I've had this, it's become an extension of me: I feel like it's always close at hand when I'm doing anything from tacking screws into a new shed door I'm building, or driving tapcons into the basement walls or ripping a 1” hole in a stud to feed a cable through. This tool is light, powerful and ergonomic. It's sensitive enough to let me drive in screws carefully, without splitting wood, or snug up the lug nuts onto my car. I constantly find myself reaching for this tool, because it's such a joy to use.
Dewalt is very good product and they are good workbooks and dependable and will always buy them
I've had this driver for a few years and it reverses when you have it in either clockwise or counterclockwise. It's very frustrating as it fits in very tight place. At first I believed that this was normal to un-tork bolts and screws but now i think it's just defective. DeWalt what do you say. All of my 32 tools are your brand.
I did not see any mention of this being a pre-owned or used tool. It was heavily used, dirty, and written on with sharpie. Seemed to work fine, but for the money I could have gotten a brand new tool.
The impact driver has trigger issues. I bought this impact driver in a set 7 months ago might have used it 3 or 4 times. I has always had trigger issues where you hit the trigger and nothing hapens then you hit it again it will work. I lived with it for a few months. But now it is doing it alot more. I filled out a warranty claim form. But Dewalt has nover got back to me. I have a ton of Dewalt tools one wall in my shed is a tool rack for my Dewalt stuff. This has me thinking maybe it is time for a change.
The drill does not maintain the force to insert screws and stops. Well, it does not work for my job.
