DHP Miles Low Bunk Bed for Kids, Twin Over Twin, Black

Came to write a review because of how much we loved these bunks. We originally found these on Wayfair for $400, so i decided to check Walmart and im glad I did. For half the price it was a steal. My girls are 12 and 5 and they loved their beds. The color is a bright navy blue and the height is just right. My 5 year old wanted top bunk and was scared it would be too high but its just right.

The product was fine Everything was fine except that when it was delivered it was left outside on a major street leaning up against the building I needed to know in real time that it was on the way so I could meet the driver outside My instructions said to call me when half hour away because I work from home and it give me a chance to make a plan of how I could not interrupt my clients Instead I had to not only interrupt my clients to check my tracking but then the products came separately on two different days so twice I had to then run outside to grab the boxes before they got stolen!

This is for my 4 and 5 year old and I love that it is shorter than the standard bunk bed. Do keep in mind the mattress can not be super thick. We had to buy a thinner mattress for the top bunk. Also be very mindful of the side with the ladder! I was not so I got to take it apart twice to line it up. That was my fault - but maybe this will save you a couple hours! ;)

The bunk is easy to put together. The dimensions were accurate and my boys say that they liked their sleep last night:) The one thing I would have wished that I had noticed is that the bottom bunk does not have a piece as a headboard. The pillows have nothing to prop them up if the bed is not against a wall.

Assembly was easy, parts are labeled with letters, and the screws are numbered. Made it easy to understand. It is a two person job. The quality was better than I expected, As for the sturdiness, its ok, were going to attach to the wall just to be on the safer side. The height on these bunk beds are perfect, we have 8 foot ceilings with ceiling fan. I was worried that would be a problem, but it wasn't. My husband who is about 5'7 was able to sit up perfectly on both the top and bottom bunk.

Overall very happy with this set. Two cautions to others 1) in the pics it appears bright white but it is actually a creamy white. In our room it does not match up to the other furniture 2) the screw heads "round-out" easily if you are using a drill/bit to assemble. Use caution if you are using a drill bit to ensure that all the pieces are in the right place before they are secured in as the screws are hard to remove. Something to consider also if you have to disassemble the unit in the future. Other than those two things it's a very nice small scale bunk bed unit.

I ordered a black bed and it came white. This was really disappointing. Unfortunately, I was at work when the box was finally open and put together. I had a friend assemble it for me and didn't noticed it was the wrong color until it was already built. My son was super excited when he seen it, so we decided to just keep it and not do a return. Other then the wrong color, I'm very pleased with with the purchase.

I own 2 of these bunk beds and both have fallen apart! They are not welded together well at all. Both bed rails for top bunk have fallen off leaving sharp edges exposed. I really like the minimalist design but the quality is lacking horribly. A little less than a year old and I have to buy new ones already.

This bed was great when we first put it together. We ensured everything was done correctly and followed the directions to a "T". This bed hasn't lasted six months before it started falling apart. The bolts come loose too quickly, and you can't put them back in. Before they pop out, they will constantly come loose. My seven year old has the top bunk and the bottom is barely used. If the bed can't handle 70lbs on it, I wonder how cheaply this was made. We have to find another one quickly before this one gives out. I will not be recommending this product to anyone, and I hope this issue gets fixed before someone gets hurt.

My order was delayed because of bad weather I was supposed to receive it on January 17th I have been waiting and waiting. I start a chat with customer service and see what's going on and they tell me that my package was lost or damaged in transit so they are gone refund me because there isn't another one available at the moment. This is why I don't like ordering stuff off the internet. Just ridiculous!
