DHP Sidney Full over Full Metal Bunk Bed, Black

My 2 teenage sons have to share a smaller room.. They don't want to sleep together but putting 2 twin beds in their room would have taken up too much space so I bought this.. It's sturdy enough for a 15 & 17 year old and gives them way more room than a twin bed. They love it and I loved the price!!

This bunk bed is wonderful - it has a modern look and the ladders do not take up floor space. very spacious and you can sit up on the bottom bunk so you won't hit your head. The only downside were the bars for the ladder, they were hurting my daughter's feet ( a bit uncomfortable) so we just went to home depot and purchased 1 bag of about 1-2 inch weather foam tape, which has an adhesive on the back, and cut it into the same size as the bars (took less then 3 minutes to do), and placed it on the steps/ladder bars. It was perfect!

I bought this bed for my 15 year daughter to give her more space in her room. This bed looks great and fits perfectly. The assembly was extremely easy due to all the parts and tools I needed were included. The instructions were easy to follow. It took less than an hour to put together. This is a Very sturdy bed. You have plenty of head room on the bottom bunk. You can actually sit up on the bottom bunk and still have room above. I had two queen size mattresses already and I did not want to purchase new mattresses for this full size bed. (Would have been nice if this bed came in a Queen size) It took some doing and I had to leave the top bunk’s rail off the side of the bed that is by the wall but I was able to squeeze the queen size mattresses in. A Very tight fit, but I did it. My Daughter loves this bed.

I would highly recommend this product. What a great idea for growing tweens. Not too difficult to put together but HEAVY trying to bring it up a flight of stairs. We brought it up in pieces.

We were atracted to this bunk bed because of the price. All in all it's not bad, however there are a few down sides that we have noticed. First, it's a little shaky when people move, especially on the top bunk. Second, the ladder really digs into your feet when climbing up and down. I went bought pipe insulation and wrapped them around the bars securing with tape. It made a big difference! In summary, yes there are better options, but for the price we are happy with the purchase.

Purchased this item for my kids room. Assembly was very easy only took 2 people (myself and my 13 year old). Assembled in less than an hour. Definitely, recommend a bunk board or plywood to frame out mattress and ease the weight on the "plastic" springs. It's only been a few days but overall you get what you pay for. Not recommended for jumping or horse playing.

It wasn't difficult to put together. My daughters age 16 & 18 put it together themselves! Sturdy, heavy duty frame with a nice sleek look to it. Love the full size top and bottom bunk but my biggest piece of advice is make sure you have higher than average ceilings! It really is the tallest bunk bed set I've ever seen and there is no way to lower the top bunk. They suggest the 6" memory foam mattress to go with, but I am returning for an 8" for the top and a (real) regular full size mattress for the bottom bunk.

Very nice bunk-beds, especially considering the price. Far cheaper than most and looks really nice. My only complaint would be that if someone is climbing up the latter, the whole unit is a little wobbly. If someone was sleeping in the bottom, it would most likely wake them up. Then again, I'm about 200 lbs...so if it was for kids or smaller people, this might not be the case.

I should have trusted the reviews that said how wobbly this bed is. Every time my child moves or even coughs, the whole bed shakes and squeaks. I wish I could return it. If it were sturdier, it would be a great bed. It looks very nice, especially for the price. It was very easy to assemble as well.

I bought this product confident that all reviews were positive which would undoubtedly be representative of product quality. Fedex was 3 days late with the delivery, no big deal given the size and weight of the bed, a minor hitch. Putting the thing together according to instructions was fairly easy, but the finished product left something to be desired... I am 5'7'' and 165 pounds: I wouldn't even trust somebody's kid sleeping on the top bunk. The whole thing shakes and wobbles at the slightest movement which means no sleep for top or bottom bed. I considered returning the product but with the hassle of packing back I am now using the top bunk for storage. Would not recommend this product...
