Curtains appear to be solidly woven and not transparent at all when in package. However, these ARE light filtering, softer and lighter than they appear when you hang them up. I am in love with this dark teal color! "Linen" fabric is very nice, but not what I would call linen compared to most other brands. Thicker threads and tighter weave. Very pretty. They are going in a very sunny window, under drapes, and will definitely filter the sun light when the drapes are open. Overall, very pleased with purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for

Ended up being longer than the window I was going to originally use them up but worked pretty well for the other window in my kitchen.

Pretty linen-feel curtains at a bargain price. These are not black out or total privacy - just for a soft, sheer covering that's nice over a window or cabinet opening.

They have a woven texture look and feel. They look a little cheap, but you get what you pay for. The panels are a little uneven but they serve the purpose of covering my small basement windows.

Ordered the 36", but after opening several packs, some were a match and others, one was shorter than the other... they have been returned.
