Diastix was recommended by my vet to get to perform tests on my pet. In stock online. I received my purchase on time. Great to know Walmart has it if and needed again.
All the other urine analysis sticks gave widely varied results each time. This Bayer product correctly helped us understand our aging dog's diabetes problem
They say that up to 50% of pregnant women will have glucose in their urine at some point in pregnancy. However, when this happened to me, I was very scared that I was developing gestational diabetes. After all, I have certain risk factors like chronic hypertension that put me at higher risk. I ordered these and started using them. They put my mind to rest. It turns out that I was over hydrated and my body was flushing out glucose through my urine at the doctors office that day. I can keep an eye on it with these. They're cheap and very easy to use!
My husband and I adopted a dog with diabetes. This is a great product to be able to keep an eye on our pups sugars. (its not easy to do with a glucometer). I would recommend this item for not only personal use for us humans, but a great way to track for your dog so you can give your vet additional info.
Fast shipping good quality
This is a must have for a diabetic dog. Although its very confusing, its the only product out there, that I can find, to check glucose in the urine of my diabetic dog. I can check it, get a reading of 2000, retest same urine with another stick and get 250. Sad but true. Like I said, only way of getting some type of information about glucose for my little guy
This is the NEW configuration that starts light green test areas....and they don't work me. Third try...Third FAIL. I much prefer the ones that start with light pink test areas. See photos of comparable types, tested at the same time. New configuration (green) tested negative, pink tested moderate ketosis.
The test strips did not work for me. Even though a blood test showed glucose in my urine, the test strips showed no reaction.
doesnt work and not returnable. the sticks never change color even when you already know there is glucose. i will not buy again.
Defective. Strips never will change color to indicate sugar in urine. At same time blood glucose test shows glucose over 100. Color chart for reading strips lowest is 100 then jumps to 200. Way too wide span for any kind of accurate reading. Will not buy again.
