Convenient package and east to use while traveling.
This works great on our cars and trucks. the dog measuring top is great. I just wish they sold it in store.
I use this in a 2007 Ram 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins. I recently moved to SD and the temps in January are rather cold. I have been using it since the move, and I have started my truck (without being plugged in) in temps at -10F and slightly warmer. The truck definitely groans (probably because I still have 15W-40 oil in it...) but the truck runs strong without any gelling. I run the interstate, and my truck does not have the winter coat (keeps all the cold air from going through the cooling lines) and my truck rarely hits operating temp. The fuel is the last concern I have due to this product. I'm not sure what the wind chill is doing 60mph down the road, but with snow and sleet during those temps, I can't imagine it being very warm... However, I have never had a gel problem, like with other products I have tried. I will be stocking up on this stuff as the winters are longer for me now!
I recently bought a used 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 with the 2.8L Duramax Diesel engine. It had 25k miles on it. The maintenance had been completed prior to buying. I drove it as is for the first 5K miles without additives. I got an average of 25 mpg highway and 23 mpg mixed highway/city. At my first oil change I use Stiction Eliminator and Diesel Extreme. The Diesel Extreme was used in the diesel for two fill ups to clean out the fuel system as a preventive. After driving through two tanks of fuel I averaged 28 mpg highway and 25 mpg mixed hwy/cty. I then used the Everyday Diesel Treatment and the Diesel Winter Anti-Gel on fill ups since. The mpg seems to be holdOmg the same average during the colder months. I hope to see an improvement in the coming warmer months.
I have only used Hot Shot's Secret Diesel Winter Anti-Gel in my Diesel tractor for 2 months, I have already noticed improved starting and less smoke upon start-up. I will have a better idea of how the Winter Anti-gel works when the really cold weather hits in January!
I run this in all my equipment , my 35kw standby generator, my diesel truck and diesel VW ...cold weather and machines outside , no gelling starting or running issues...been a heavy equipment mechanic for 38 years so I have a bit of experience with diesel additives and this one works great ..good people to deal with too..fast shipping thanks guys
I got this product after watching a Video by YouTuber ProjectFarm he did a comparison between Different diesel anti-gel products. Hot shots secret beat out the competition. Unfortunately, it hasn't been cold enough where I live for me to use it yet. However, I have used hot shots EDT, and I like their products. They seem to work well. I will definitely be buying again.
So we recently moved to Tulsa Ok. after having lived in Avondale Az. I've never had a problem with freezing fuel until Tulsa and now I won't because of your product. Next week will be a good test as we are looking at a cold snap for our part of the country.
Arrived after said shipping date at time of purchase.
They only shipped 1 of the 2 bottles I ordered, won't return an email, and walmart is useless trying to get a hold of someone
