My nephew was really happy to receive this for Christmas

The hydraulic hand was a fun project for my 9 year old grandson. However even though the box says 8 year olds, it does require an adult to assist during the project because there are little prices that can get lost %26 there is one part which will require some hand strength to snap into place. Also one part which an adult may need to help with attaching very small springs which will require an adults assistances. My grandson loves the hand! It is a good challenge %26 he can take pride in what he built. Good project to work on reading instructions %26 building.

10-year-old and I both enjoyed this toy, but the assembly process was challenging. The instructions are poorly organized, with steps that jump between different sections without a clear sequence. The parts aren't labeled, making it difficult to identify which pieces go where. Even as an adult, I struggled with connecting the pieces since they were unusually hard to snap together. Despite these assembly issues, once completed, it's a great toy that both children and adults can enjoy.

At time of purchase I couldn't find age appropriate, my fault. Just received it, wow, very detailed looks like most adults might have problems building it. The end result is what I'm looking for as I know my 4 year old grandson will love it when it's built. Shipping was great, arrived early, rang the bell! More after assembly is completed

Not great. Pretty difficult to put together. The pieces don't completely match what's on the box. I have to keep fixing it because it won't stay together when my son uses it. Would not recommend.

My son was so excited to receive this at Christmas. He put it together (some parts weren't easy), but then was SUPER disappointed because it broke within 2 hours of play. He wasn't being hard on it either. Cheaply made, don't waste your money better STEM toys out there.

The Lego people need to talk with the Discovery Toy people! Not only were we missing a piece, but the overall toy and assembly are not worth the hassle. If I could give 0 stars I would! We'll be sticking to tried and true brands from now on.

Do not buy, missing pieces!! Highly disappointed 8 year old this Christmas morning. Missing pieces, cannot finish assembly.

Unfortunately I have to give alow rating. this robotic hand was very difficult for an adult to put together. once played with robotic hand came apart. After multiple times frustratingly reattaching its fingers and parts, I decided to return for a refund.

first product i purchased had no instructions manual and the light source cover was stuck with screw not being able to be removed. second procudt i purchased had some missing parts. and not user friendly assembly. ITS NOT WORTH THE $ to be spent on it
