Learning Resources Fizzy Volcano, Science Experiments for Kids, Classroom Must Haves, Ages 4+

My child had the opportunity to try this Learning Resources fizzy volcano preschool science STEM kit recently and I wanted to share our results. First, the kit has several plastic pieces which are pretty durable. There's plastic test tubes with lids, dinosaur figures, volcano and even a larger eye dropper meant for smaller hands. Most things store in the volcano tray so it keeps the pieces together when you're not using it. There's an instruction booklet included that has recipes for different experiments including a good old baking soda volcano and also how to make putty for your dinosaur fossils. I like that the kid is designed for younger children who still want to participate in experiments, but you don't want them to have anything that could break such as glass. The pieces are pretty durable. This was such an enjoyable kit that even my 8-year-old wanted to play with it and conduct experiments using it.

The Fizzy Volcano Preschool Science Lab is an excellent family activity set. I received the lab free to review. We were very pleased with the great variety of equipment and resources to complete multiple experiments. The lab is great to follow the directions and durable for toddlers to play independently.

This volcano lab is great and my 5 year old son says two thumbs up! The kit includes numerous activities and all are easy to set-up. My son enjoyed the dinosaur/fossil theme which encouraged him to engage and play more. Having the beaker and test tubes made this much easier to have the volcano effect compared to similar previous at home/diy activities we have done. It was really easy cleanup and the items are made out of thick sturdy plastic that feel like they will last a long time. Overall I would recommend!

Thank you Learning Resources for sending my family the "Fizzy Volcano Preschool Science Lab," as a free sample! Everyone was excited to get started on the main event, the Fizzy Volcano! I will note, while the set does include a few test tubes, funnel, stirring spoon , base and beaker as well as a few plastic dinosaurs, there will be a few additional things you may need to purchase to use the set. We were able to find vinegar, baking soda and food coloring at our local dollar store! Getting the Fizzy Volcano set up was really easy! There is a booklet in the set that will have a few activities for your family to try. We tried the fizzy volcano as well as the ice age fossil activity. Our son was so excited and super eager to be a part of the volcano set up , he made sure we tried a volcano in every color! We also loved creating a story about how our dinosaurs became fossils and watching them slowly melt away (we watched one fossil melt on its own and we aided another with some coarse salt to make a game or time). Fun and engaging for all ages, we couldn't be happier!

the Learning Resources Fizzy Volcano Preschool Science Lab is an absolute winner in my book. It seamlessly combines entertainment and education, allowing young children to explore scientific concepts in a fun and memorable way. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or caregiver, this science kit is a fantastic addition to any preschooler's learning journey. My child and I had a blast with it, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others looking to spark a love for science in young minds.

We used this product in my daycare and all the kids loved it. It was super hands on and educational at the same time!! The kids had so much fun they didn't even realize that they was learning at the same time. I would definitely recommend to fellow daycare or preschool teachers or just parents wanting to have a fun learning night with their kids.

My son is 4 years old and we did this interactive volcano as a family and we had so much fun! We loved putting it together and making it fizz! I loved how easy this was for a toddler to us and educational!

My son (5 years old) and daughter (7 years old) loved doing the volcano experiment in this kit with me. The little dinos make it extra fun and I appreciate the extra facts the booklet has.

This fizzy volcano has so many activities! We have only done the actual volcano but look forward to doing the other activities! Both my girls loved the little Dino's too!
