[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dixie's is always our go-to brand when we have a kids' party or cookout. They're great quality for the cost (very durable) and they have such cute designs! I also like that they come in so many different sizes.
This year on Thanksgiving we decided for the 1st time to have more quality time and less cleaning up time.....how we decided nothing fancy this year we would eat our dinner off our favorite throw away paper plates dixie....since it's such a huge meal we decided just to double up the plate to prevent any spills just in case and guess what it worked we spent more time together laughing sharing stories because we didn't slay over the sink doing so many dishes cutting into our time together. I mean at first we thought it would be a little funny using paper goods on a special holiday but no it made sense we are supposed to be thankful for what is most important to us and that is family and friends ..well now we have to say we are THANKFUL TO DIXIE ALSO bc we wouldn't have had such a fun night together without buying Dixie....so thank you stay safe and happy holidays!!!
I will only buy Dixie because I've learned that it is the strongest paper plate out there. In the past I did buy different store brand plates because they're cheaper but they're cheaper because they're inferior. For the longest time, I bought the 10" plates but I just began using the smaller 8" plates (for portion control) and even though they are smaller, they are just as durable.
My husband and I are both retired and use Dixie products daily depending on what we are eating at the time. With only two people, it is impractical to use the dishwasher so we always use dixie paper products for the ease of cleanup. Have been doing this for several years. Have tried other products, but they do not compare to Dixie for quality and strength.
I was recently displaced from my home when the pipes burst in my home and it was flooded. Everything was packed away and stored. I was in a temporary residence w/out a proper kitchen a relied on a Microwave and paper plates for meals DIXIE WAS THE BEST! Sturdy enough for grocery store chickens, Mac & Cheese….COMFORT FOOD and I never had a spill……
As a mother, I dread doing dishes. After trying a number of different brands of paper plates, Dixie is my favorite! Reason being, there are no quality issues. Because of their thickness and durability, the plates are safe to use in the microwave! There are no problems in the microwave when using it in there. Food does not soak into the plates compared to other brands. Reasonably priced, particularly the large value pack. Saves me a lot of money and time from washing dishes!
I have always purchased Dixie cups and dishes, always very reliable very sturdy. All the other brands leek or one side flips always a problem never had this problem with Dixie dishes and I love the cups because the cups are microwavable. None of the other cups are I recently found that out within the last year or two anyway my issue is I've always purchased the 10 1/2 ounce Dixie dishes 2X but the last two purchases I found them to be very flimsy items that never leaked through leak through and I am very shocked and very disappointed that leaves me with NO disposable dishes! What happened? What am I supposed to do now?
I ordered $90. dollars worth of stuff and was charged 14.99 for 58, 6 78" plates is way to much.
