I have nothing negative 2 say about this board!! It was God sent!! How something so simple slips by our minds!! If U have a patient that is bed 2 chair, etc. this is a great thing!! my 90 yr Aunt had a stroke on her right side 6 weeks ago. this was mentioned 2 me once N swing bed but that was it! Not being able 2 lift do 2 shoulder, hip, knee replacements, I needed someone 2 level the playing field!God brought it back 2 my remberence! I ordered it! This allows she %26 I 2 move her for place 2 place without lifting her. It is like a capital A! U have the. bed %26 wheel chair facing each other off side, the board goes kinnycornered with each of it ends bridging the gap! The wood is slick like a surf board %26 they start where they sit %26 slide 2 the opposite end of it where they want 2 B %26 they do!! We take it everywhere!!! If U learn how 2 use it properly, U will never go without it!!

My husband had been a left above-knee amputee. He recently became a bilateral above-knee amputee. Rehabilitation %26 physical therapies definitely helped, but at your own home things are completely different. This board is sturdy, smooth %26 definitely helps him with his transfers.

Board works good the pine is soft on bottom but does good to transfer from chair. My daughter uses it all the time.

this is the perfect transfer board for a larger person. just the right size without being too heavy to use with 1 hand. definitely would recommend.

This is perfect for transferring, it had a little chip on the side, didn't effect the use at all. I'm ordering another one for the car.

Perfect for when you get out of the hospital and can't stand yet you just slide across from the object of the bed to the sofa or your wheelchair. It's very sturdy well made, and would buy it again.

I bought this for a neighbor of mine. She was in a wreck almost 20yrs ago that left her in a wheelchair. She mentioned she only had one slider and it went home with her from the hospital. Hard to gauge weight while someone is seated, but if I had to, I would say she is between 145-170lb and probably 5'5"-5'7". All guesses. I asked the other day how the board was working for her and was told "great". Her old board, besides being old was only 20" with one handle. If I had to make the purchase again I would. Sturdy, good fit, light weight, and cost effective. May those of you in need of this have a speedy recovery and those subject to it indefinately find it to be a comfort to you.

The slide board is smaller than I expected and is only sloped on one side. It will work for a small person with some effort. I would not recommend it if you are moving a larger person, that is more than 150 pounds.

It's really a good and lite board but by the time you get it at home, the corners are bent and too dangerous to be used for your skin specially if you're dealing with an open wound.

this item came with splintered on each end and one side...poor poor quality unacceptable for my need.
