I have lots of older kitchen knives and other sharpeners don't really work on them. I used this and it made the edge sharp enough to cut paper. The handle and rubber bottom work great on a flat surface to prevent any accidents when you are using it. I highly recommend this sharpener for anyone's kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener works great. It fits nicely in my silverware drawer which makes it in easy reach when needed. I used it to resharpen all my paring knives with ease. With a few pulls through the sharpener, the knives got very sharp again.

if you run knife through 5 or 6 times each your knife will cut meat like butter. it's always good to sharpen before each use so it has seen lots of use.

Not sure it sharpens as good as expected but I'm still trying it

When using the tool, it feels lightweight and fairly stable on a flat surface. I tried sharpening two dull knives and it took several times in each slot to sharpen. In terms of performance, it sharpens kitchen knives to an acceptable level but doesn’t seem to significantly improve very dull blades. It’s better suited for quick touch-ups rather than full restoration. For casual use or as a backup sharpener, it’s serviceable — but if you’re looking for precision, there might be other options available.
