Doctor Who Collections Set (Walmart Exclusive) (DVD)

If you have ever heard of the British Science Fiction series, but not familiar this is a great set to get started with. These are Modern era stories so they are not as low budget as many on the so called "Classic era" and therefore make them more acceptable to a modern audience. Yet they are not the modern trash that the BBC has been producing for the last decade. Well acted and interesting stories at a bargain basement price!

I wasn’t able to watch this show 20 years ago when it started as I was a busy working mom taking care of my two elementary age kids and a crappy husband. Now I’m single, my kids are grown, and even with work I have plenty of time and energy to devote myself to what I want to do. One of those things is watching all the shows I wasn’t able before. This show is amazing. Everyone should watch at least the first season because you’ll be hooked… even though it gets so much better as you go on.

I bought this as a gift for a big Dr. Who fan who was thrilled. I was told you can't find these episodes to stream right now. So if you have a Dr. Who fan to buy for this is it.

Great price and an incredible bargain for so many episodes of this show (125 hours worth). It completely eliminates the need for me to subscribe to a streaming service (HBO Max) because this is probably the only show I would watch on it anyways. Delivery was free and I got it the very next day. Outstanding.

I wanted all the seasons 1-10 and all the Christmas day specials. This was such a deal vs. paying 25 each season. Compact so doesnt take up a lot of space. No inserts or any little title pages so you will just enter the discs in order.

This is an incredible deal! You get all of the Doctor Who seasons and specials from the modern era, with the exception of the two most recent Doctors. The case that holds them is difficult to manage. It either holds them so tightly that they are hard to remove from the holder or practically falls out on its own. But as for the price and quality of the discs, this is one of the best deals I have seen on anything related to Doctor Who. Really enjoying this set.

One of my favorite shows ever! This whole set came out to just $4 a season with 10 seasons plus Christmas specials/50th anniversary special. Incredible value! 4 stars because the package was flimsy and I thought it broke. The dvd’s were out of the case when I opened it, bummer! So far no issues with playback that I saw immediately. Plus it doesn’t include the massive amount of bonus features that exist on other versions. But those individual seasons with bonus features cost well over $50 each so I understand it. Hopefully they will release a complete blu ray set again! I’m a 2000s kid so I feel nostalgia for those DVD menu’s and lower picture quality. Plus no ads and monthly fees to watch it. Keep it forever!! It’s easy to get right into the show and play. Not a hassle to start watching. Every fan or people who are interested in seeing it for the first time should definitely pick this up!

I think this is a great vaule for collecting the show and its a nice pretty set. This has all the episodes and specials for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Doctor and is great alternative to following the shiw as if moves streaming services. However the second DVD case (which is the Matt Smitt Collection/the middle) came a little damaged. The outside is cracked wear you open it and the inside piece that holds the disc is detached. This damage is not the fault of the deliver driver but probably just manufacturing issue as the other two cases are in perfect condition. None of the disc are scratched either.

The box set arrived really damaged, with only one of the boxes being fully intact. One of the dvds (with the David Tennant specials on it) was out of its spot and super super scratched as you can see in the picture. Really cheap plastic obviously that’s scratched and broken off. Love the series and the value of this set—but not the damage.

Order received with packing damaged and the case that holds the DVD’s broken. Some damage to contents as well. Husband has cancer so needs some entertainment. Not happy with the shipping quality!
