Dove Bond Strength for Chemically Damaged Hair, 9.2 Oz

I'm not the good kind of "neighbor" that typically reviews products so others will know how to make the best choices (although I totally appreciate those that do!). HOWEVER....I absolutely had to come on here and eeview this product. I have fine, curly hair that is thinning and damaged by color (especially by highlighting around the face). I washed my hair and then applied this product, left it on for the recommended 1 minute, rinsed, and was done. It was so moisturizing in the shower that I rinsed more than usual because I couldn't tell if it was out. Afterwards, I decided to skip my leave-in products except the mousse I use to keep frizz down. I cannot GET OVER how dramatically better my hair is. It's like it soaked into the hair to the very center and it looks healthy like it hasn’t in years. I did some research on drugstore deep conditioning and hair masks before getting this, and it was very highly rated by a large number of reviewers. I just had to throw my vote in with them!! 11 stars out of 10!!

i bleached my hair from dark brown to blond so its pretty dry, damaged and brittle. ive been using this along woth the shampoo and conditioner, and my hair finally has life again! its soooo incredibly soft (even softer than before) and its starting to get some of its natural texture back. ive been using it a week and love it! and it has a very pleasant smell (and my nose is VERY sensitive)

I bought this for my mother-in-law because she has thin hair and loves fun colors. My partner bleaches it to dye it with holiday-themed colors: red and pink for Valentine’s Day, green for St. Patrick’s Day, and pastel colors for Easter, etc. My partner isn’t a hairdresser, so she probably doesn’t use salon-quality products. I had read great reviews about the Dove Bond Strength Hair Mask, and it’s worked wonderfully. Her hair looks shiny, healthy, and soft.

Love this hair mask. I have slightly wavy hair, and this makes it feel sleek, soft, and so much easier to manage. It helps with detangling, smoothing frizz, and making my hair feel stronger without weighing it down. The best part is that I can let my hair air dry after using it and it still lays really nicely, which does not always happen with my hair.

I have thick Native American hair and to my surprise this stuff works remarkably well in regards to containing moisture levels and reducing breakage. Not many affordable products can do that for my hair without ruining my moisture levels

I have thin straight hair and this in one of the few masks that doesn't make my hair flat. I use it once a week and leave it on for about 5 minutes. Helps with freeze and dry ends.

Love this hair mask!! Love that you don’t have to leave it on your hair for 7–10 minutes and it leaves my hair extremely moisturized. And even after blow drying you can still smell the scent of the mask. It’s not overwhelming it just smells like you left the salon with really nice smelling hair. And the scent will last 2–3 days.

I hardly give anything a five star review, but this Dove Bond Strength Hair Mask with Peptide Complex is very impressive. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and I am noticing the quality of my hair is MUCH better - especially in the softness category. I am in my late 50s and had started having significant breakage to my hair over the last 2-3 years. The Dove Bond Strength Hair Mask provides deep conditioning in a very short amount of time. (Only one minute is recommended per application) My hope is that with continued use I will see much less breakage, split ends, etc. The cost is very good for the results I’m experiencing.

i am going to be very honest , if you are in a budget and you can't buy this cream right now , just buy the Dove hair conditioner , because according to my experience with my own hair , the results was almost the same .. i have dary ends , and my hair tends to be fizzy after wash , but the dove products give me nice moisture , lovely smell , and smoother feeling .. i have used the 1 plus 10 three times until now , and i Love it , but it's on the pricey side for me right now .. remember this is my personal view according to personal experience .. your hair might react differently .. if you want something works this baby does the job for sure .. and the smell stays to the next wash 💞

I think this mask works really well. I was noticing my hair, which I’m trying to grow out, was getting a bit dry. My hair looked and felt much better afterwards. But, and the reason for taking off one star, is that the scent is overwhelming. It’s not a bad scent but it’s just way too strong. It’s all you or the people around you will smell until you wash your hair again. I have this same complaint with other Dove products, like their body wash and hand soap. The scent is just too much. Otherwise, it works well.
