I ended up purchasing products from this line including the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask because Abbey Yung recommended them. They were so affordable, I thought they were worth trying. I know people say this in reviews, and I’m skeptical when I read it, but my hair felt so soft after the first use. I know my hair is actually repaired after one use, but it feels so nice and looks better. I recommend checking out Abbey Yung’s IG page, or her YouTube channel for more information on how these products work. I understand the ingredients scare some people who have bought into the “clean beauty” fallacy, and find one post villainizing those ingredients on a “clean beauty” brand website and then come to review the products saying they are toxic or will damage your hair. No. Look at actual science-based research, not information from a “clean beauty” site trying to push their agenda. Don’t read the AI generated summary on Google and think that is based on fact. It’s just a summary of what the websites with the top hits have written. The only thing that might be an issue for people is the heavy fragrance. I love the scent, but you may not. It’s a typical floral salon haircare scent.

After years of using L’Oreal, I felt that my hair would benefit from a change, but with all the new products out nowadays it wasn’t such an easy choice. I chose Dove because this line seem to focus not only on the hair itself, but also scalp health as well, and I am so glad I did! My hair is very fine and very damaged, but after using the Dove bond strength, shampoo, and conditioner, my hair is shinier, fuller, and healthier, and the fragrance is amazing! I am so happy that I chose Dove!!

I started using this shampoo and the matching conditioner earlier this year, and haven’t used my L’Oréal bonding combo since. My hair is much more manageable and less tangled using the Dove products. Nice clean scent, not overpowering. I’m already on my third bottle of each!

I have been looking for a good shampoo. The ones that actually work for my hair are $50 a bottle. This shampoo was priced wayyyy lower and the product works just as well.

I was skeptical because i’ve always been told that dove is bad for your hair but ive seen this product has been going viral on tiktok so i decided to try it out. I love it! I have 3B curls and it made my hair feel very clean and it smells amazing! It also has a very good lather. Hopefully i see improvement as i use it more!

Nothing phenomenal. It will not work wonders. HOwever for the price, Dove bonding shampoo is decent enough. I have investigated the list of ingredients and apparently it's basically just typical peptides, so do NOT expect transformative powers. But for the price this is a decent, reliable shampoo.
