It will have some use as is, but the longer one should be adjustable. If the shorter one holds up the rear end, How does the front being pushed to the ground help? If I raise the bar high enough to raise the front off the ground the rear is dangling high in the air. Well maybe I am using it backwards. OK, then the rear carrier allows him to sit and the front holds his head up pulling on his neck.

This didn't come with any usage instructions and I almost choked my dog trying to learn how to use them from YouTube! Wouldn't suggest this product, especially for small dogs

Rubber tubing on loops is stiff and uncomfortable . This may work better on large dogs but it does not work on my 12 lb girl. Neck loop very awkward. Haunch loop okay. Trying to return but no word from seller yet.
