I love this smell, the softness, and better feel of my laundry when using Defy, unfortunately I found out that I am very much allergic to the beads. I broke out in a rash around my neck and lower waist. I hated to believe it because I love Defy. Once I stopped using the beads my rash disappeared. Had to rewash all my clothes, linen and towels. I miss Defy.
I love this product. I have some vintage sweaters, blouses etc. passed to me from my 99 year old mother. I love the items and was washing them by hand. I came across this product and tried washing one of the items on delicate in the machine. With excellent results used it on them all and it really revived the colors. I have had excellent results with this product. I have had a difficult time finding this product in stores so I will continue to order it.
Love these! If you have hard water these are an absolute must!!! You will see a difference in the way your clothes/towels feel with the first use. These do exactly what they say. They condition your laundry.
These scent beads they are wonderful but they're hard to find but when you do you get them because they smell wonderful and you can make your clothes really soft.
I love these so much I won't wash my clothes without them. They keep my clothes beautiful. Once you use these you'll never want to go without them. Plus they keep my clothes so nice my favorite clothes last longer. Also my t shirts become so soft and comfy.
I absolutely love this product when doing my wash. I'm guessing it was discontinued since I cannot find it anywhere in store or online. I am so sad. Does anyone have any good recommendations that are similar to this. Everytime I find something I like it gets discontinued 😔. Clorox bleach pens too. WHYYYYY 😭
I was interested and intrigued to see the beads, and optimistic that I'd like this product more than the first laundry bead product I'd experienced a few years ago (the earlier laundry bead product did NOT make similar claims to Downy Defy Damage in the impact it would make on the fabrics you choose to launder!) My first impression of Downy Defy Damage was that while I found the packaging design to be visually appealing, I didn't find the structure of the container to be AS strong as I'd hoped-- be careful when you first open it, or the little beads will fly all over the place My concern is not knowing what's the long term effect on the washing machine as it feels like a lubricant and and what happens to the clothes long term (i.e. is it like a fabric softener? (A fabric softener softens clothing and eventually break down fibres of clothing). Overall, after my first and second use of the Downy Defy Damage conditioner, it was been a good experience and my clothing seem to have less fuzzing and have a silky soft feel. I think this would be beneficial for people with knitted sweaters or stretchy pants that contain Lycra as these fibres often break easier over time. I wouldn't recommend using it for fire repellent clothing like certain children's pajamas as per the direction of the product information.
i liked this stuff but i have to find detergent sotners for a sentive skin person.. and it was nice smelling..
These did not dissolve all the way in cold water and left undissolved pieces of the little white balls on some of my clothes and around the inside of the washer (top loader washing machine). Does not work in cold water guys.
The shipper tossed the product in a box with packaging it properly and during transit the laundry bead containers broke open. When it arrived and I opened the box, it was full of spilling all-over laundry beads. It was a complete mess.
