Downy Rinse Out Odor Laundry Rinse, Cool Cotton, 48 fl oz

I’ve tried this in my laundry routine (especially on workout clothes and towels), and I find it strikes a good balance between performance and subtlety. The Cool Cotton scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering. In my experience, it does a noticeably better job of “clearing out” smells compared to using just detergent, and I often skip extra fabric softener when I use it. That said, on really stubborn odors (think sweat-stained gear or smoke drenched items), I still need extra stain/Odor treatments beforehand. Also, if you wash many dark-colored fabrics, I’d keep an eye on any gradual fading. Overall I’ll say it’s a useful laundry booster for everyday odor problems

The Downy Rinse and Refresh is an odor remover and fabric softener all in one! It breaks down the odors at the source instead of just covering it up. I really love the cool cotton scent. It’s light and refreshing. I love how my clothes smell after every wash!

Dawn Rinse %26 Refresh smells fabulous! This is a must-have in my laundry routine. It leaves my clothes smelling so fresh and clean, and I love how long the fresh scent lasts. I purchased the larger size from Walmart, and it's definitely a great buy.

Once you try this, you are hooked! It really does keep your laundry smelling fresh for at least 2 weeks (we don't keep clean clothes longer than that). This is my fav scent!!! I wish I was able to get the size a put in my cart b/c it was a better deal, but I am going to use it any way!

Not as good at removing odors from clothes as they claim. I've washed and rewashed with this stuff and the odor from cologne setting into the fibers of my shirts never went away. This most definitely isn't worth what they charge for it and I will not buy it again. A very much cheaper method for removing odors from clothes is the Vinegar soak. A $3⁰⁰ bottle of Apple Cider While Vinegar and water. I believe I mixed water and the Vinegar at a ratio of 4:1 in my kitchen sink and soaked about 6 or 8 T-shirts overnight and they now smell fresh as new. You can also use the Vodka spray method. Pour some cheap Vodka in a spray bottle, hang your shirt up and spray the shirt and magically, after sitting a while the odors will disappear. Of course you'll need to wash your shirts as normal after each method to wash away the molecules of the funk and Vinegar or Vodka. You wouldn't want to be stopped by a cop for anything after a Vodka soak and not wash the shirt afterwards. The assumption of a DUI would most likely be an issue. As I always say after giving advice on anything, Google it and double check what I've said just to make sure you get it right the first time. Until next time, PEACE OUT MAN!!! 🤟

If you have truly tough odors, don't bother. My husband is a boat mechanic, which means his clothes smell like grease and oil every day. This doesn't touch it. It also doesn't do anything for the dogs' blankets. It's fine for every day use but not worth the expense for it. Fabric softener will do just as well on every day items. Save your money.
