My husband was nervous about the bottle being glass, with that said, after using the bottle he stated he prefers the new Options+ glass bottles over the plastic ones. The silicone sleeve is great! I also feel as if the glass is easier to clean and is somehow more sanitary than the plastic. Our daughter took well to the bottles and we will continue to use them.
I got this as a sample to try out and overall I really liked the product as much as the plastic bottles they offer. I feel better having the silicon sleeve on, and other than being a bit heavy to hold, it works well and we didn’t have any issues with it.
I received the bottles 3 weeks ago and they are the best. My daughter has gerd very bad and while using the bottles she did not throw up as much as she did with all the countless bottles we have tried. I will definitely be purchasing more bottles and telling all my friends to use them as well for their babies. Thank you for making such a great product!!!
I love the fact of bringing glass bottles back I’m all about eco friendly! Very sturdy bottles my son dropped it numerous times no damage. My sons had terrible reflux since he was born he is now 9 months old and when we started using this bottle I noticed a huge change in his feedings... he threw up less and it has been amazing!
As far as glass bottles go, this one was great. The numbers are super easy to read, and it heats up easily in a bowl of warm water. I also loved that the top and inserts were interchangeable with some of the older Dr. Browns bottle parts. My only negative is that because it is glass, you just have to be careful. I wouldn't necessarily use this for a baby that can hold/toss their own bottle.
I was given this product to test in exchange for my honest review. In my opinion, this is a high quality baby bottle that would work well for most babies. First, the good: As a parent that is concerned about harmful chemicals leaching from plastic baby bottles, I was happy to see Dr. Brown's offering a glass option. The glass held up well through multiple washings and the bottle did not leak. My baby who had previously been drinking from Dr. Brown’s narrow plastic bottles readily accepted this bottle and its similar design. Now for the bad: Something about the design of this bottle made my baby gassier than usual. I don’t know if it’s the extra air at the top of the bottle since it’s taller or a difference in the venting system. My baby has a sensitive stomach though and I know this will not be everyone’s experience with this bottle. Like other Dr. Brown’s bottles there are a lot of parts. The venting system is necessary for us, but it’s still annoying to wash. The silicone sleeve just seemed like another unnecessary extra part and we discontinued use of it after the first few times. All in all though, I still think this is one of the better glass bottles we have tried and I would recommend it to other parents.
My daughter readily accepted this bottle and it did not leak or give her gas. I did not have a problem with leakage, which I sometimes would get with other Dr. Brown bottles. The other bottles I have are plastic, and mostly for 4 oz so the weight difference was notable, as it is a bit harder on my wrist, but it is not a limiting factor. I used without the silicone sleeve as I had problems getting them on and off the bottle.
I loved the glass bottle idea. The sleeve was a good gesture but I couldn’t get it on to save my life! Also, the bottle kept his formula cold, which he didn’t like. Even with warming it up, it made him not want to eat it. I like them, but they are also heavy. They were ok.
I received this product to test. First thing we noticed was how heavy the glass bottles were. We also did not use the silicone sleeve because we couldn’t get it on the bottles without a 10 minute effort. The actual bottle and nipple worked just as good as the plastic bottles.
I don't know if the product is any good. The caps were too small for our use, and the seller refused to accept a return or grant a refund.
