Price was cheaper than TSS and the delivery was free. We have 3 minature horses that are pretty old, 29, 28 and 28.I have always been focused on creating a healthy environment for them. We have one mini since he was 10 months old. Our mare and stallion for 23 years
Ive been ordering this from another seller for awhile now. Walmart beats that other sellers' price. DrPol pellets smell good(like pine wood). Better if used with a sifting litter pan. No dust. No urine smell. My cat uses it with no problens . It tracks but less than traditional clay litters.
the quality and everything is good and worth the money. I've got 13 cats and I go through a bag and a half of this litter a month. I would recommend this to people who have multiple cats. It does keep the smell down a lot better than the scented clay litter. I've been using this for almost 6 months now and I won't go back. I also think it's a lot healthier for my cats
Top props for the improvement in packaging. I got 8 and none had any spillage or leakage. Two tiems before when I ordered a large quantity 1-2 had spillage which was annoying. My cats love this and it makes pee smell less bad too bad it cant do anything for my cat's stink bombs.
incredible product for a litter box. Extremely good value for the money. Right now I'm changing the litter box once weekly. Two male adult cats, no odor or smell. Once the litter starts to break down from urine, it becomes where they bury the rest. MULTIPLE fills from you ne bag. litter budget is now SO much liwer
This pine litter is just as good as the more pricey ones, maybe better. Pine litter is so much better than clay litter. Much less odor. I have used pine litter for many years. I would never go back. This is an excellent product at a great price.
I have 2 large size cats, the quantity of this litter will last for what seems like forever for several changes, sometimes up to 3/half weeks or even 4. The price is an awesome deal compared to all other options and it actually helps control the smell instead of paying higher price for “scented” or other promoted “odor control” products. Only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because it leans more on the thicker side rather than soft/dissolvable and since my cats are long hair it'll get stuck between fingers or on their tails. Dust wise its okay, very controllable but again, if it wasn't as big it would help to avoid it sticking on them as much. It's not really a big deal since its purpose isn't solely for cat litter use. Otherwise, it's a great option if your cats aren't picky. I would really suggest you try! No downside if they don't like the texture as it can be used for other things.
My new kittens absolutely refused to adapt to my existing Breeze system but they like and use Dr. Pol's Pine Pellets. No more "accidents" outside the litter box, and I am surprised at how well it absorbs urine smells. This is so much better than clay litter. Since they like this, I guess it is now my litter of choice for the next 18-20 years...lol.
I've used better products before, but this product was reasonably priced and worked as expected. Nothing special but it didn't go wrong either -- just did its job as cat litter and did not clump that much. The pine pellets might smelled a bit damp but as long as you don't store it in moist environment (example high humidity areas like Southern or Southeastern states like Texas or New Jersey during the summer months), then you should be OK. Compared to this product, the best product I've used was super dried corn kernels, which rarely cause clumping, but dried corn kernels are a bit expense if you have more than 1 cat and have to change the cat litter every other day. Overall, this product worked OK, did not clump much, but can smell a bit funky if stored in a damp climate.
for an inexpensive cat litter ....this works for that. However, we normally use Feline Fresh pine litter and tried this due to it's supposed to be the same thing but bigger bag and way less money. Welllllll, it works almost the same. This is drier, softer pellets with absolutely no pine scent at all. The Feline Fresh smells like pine and helps cut down on cat pee and poop stink. This was apparently dried longer in the kiln or whatever process this company uses, and the oil is all dried out of it. This breaks apart way easier where the name brand has firmer pellets. Overall, does it work? yes. As good as Feline Fresh? not even close for odor control factor.
