Dr. Talbot's Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer for Babies, Children, & Adults, White

I initially got this for my children and so far it has been awesome! Keep in mind that it DOES NOT come with batteries but that is something very simple.

I like Dr Talbot's products so this was no different. Seems to have perfect temps and is easy to use

Fast and pretty accurate, Since we send our kids to school everyday, they are required to check the temperature. We wanted to get something that is a little faster than the oral thermometer and did a little research. This one caught our eye and decided to give it a try. So far it has worked very well. For the first few days we did both this and the oral check and it was usually with in 0.4 degrees each time. So it would be fairly easy to see if the temp is spiking.

Works once you get past the Lo reading in the display window. Not as accurate as taking an oral temperature. Only purchased it because it was contactless.

Admittedly, this is a little fickle but if you read the instructions and understand the error codes, then you'll figure out how to use it correctly. Add two AAA batteries and you're ready to go. Hold power button for a few seconds to turn on, then position approximately 1" from forehead and quickly press the button. The device will beep and you're done.

I will be returning this thermometer. Extremely inaccurate. Even with brand new batteries, the thermometer still reads different temperatures. One reading showed a temp of 97.7. After trying a few seconds later, it showed 94.3. Unfortunately, I have to return.

The thermometer I received did not work. I returned it. Every reading registered as low and it was stuck on "Lo". I would have to turn it off to take the next reading. Thus, I was leering if the numerical readings were correct. I was so disappointed!

When I received this product it looked pretty good but it only worked four times out of 27 tries when I went to return it I found in the box the warranty card that had already been filled out by someone else so apparently someone else had the same problem I did And returned it So I guess I was sent a defective and used returned item, this did not make me very happy. I was not Expecting a used item from Walmart.

Suspicious of readings so I took it with me to the dr office. Inaccurate by more than 3 degrees when compared to under the tongue temp at the dr office. Infrared at the dr office was inaccurate as well... different brand. Not sure the technology is there yet??

Disapointed! Very light weight and works like a knock off piece of cheap electronics. Most of the supposed features are fussy and difficult to get working. Only feature that works well is turning it on to take one temperature, than turn it off and repeat for the next person. I have a child care. This is time consuming and parents with multiple children cannot wait for this. I would not purchase this again and advise others to try another brand. This model sells for as much as $99 on other sites. I would not pay more than $20. As I stated it is a bottom of the line product.
