Dragonwood

!!!!!!!

This is a fun game we enjoy playing with our 10 year old son.

Love this game. Good for kids.

Great for kids to hone their math skills as well as fun!

Very fun and easy to learn.

We're pretty serious boardgame players for the most part, but this is a fun alternative when we want something that plays quickly and doesn't require a lot of intense thought. We like that you can choose how much risk you want to take, and that the gameplay is easy to pick up on, making this a good game for friends who aren't serious gamers. The art on the cards is also fun, and this is on the cheaper end of boardgames, which is also a plus. We've replayed this one at least once a week for a while now, so it holds up to repeated play throughs.

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas and we already played the game. The instructions are a bit confusing at first. Could be a bit more clear. But once you get into the game is becomes exciting as you defeat fire ants, spiders and eventually dragons. There are only two dragons. Would be cooler if there were 4. It's basically a card and dice game, I initially thought it was going to be a board game. It's always nice to have an extra game to play on those days when it's too cold to go out. Keeps the kids off the screen time too.

We changed the rules slightly to make it more competitive. It could be very one sided if one person had the right cards. To make it less likely to happen, we altered the rule to include mandatory discard of the cards used.

I enjoyed this game with my mid-30's son and 7 year old grandson. We'll be playing again very soon.

Fun, family game. Better than I expected.
