Drano Max Gel Drain Clog Remover, Commercial Line, 128 fl oz

I have a double-sink and one side has the disposal. After running my disposal everything just got really backed up. After several days of trying to use a plunger with little change, I decided to give this a try before calling in a real plumber. I used 1/8 of the bottle at a time for periods of 2 to 3 hours. About halfway through the bottle, it seemed like things were starting to move a little faster down the pipe. I used my plunger after the 4th application and everything broke open and went down. That may not be the perfect way to use it but I made sure all water was gone as not to cause any accidental burns from the product before I used my plunger again. The drain has been clear ever since. I plan to use the product ever so often going forward in hopes of eliminating that type of backup in the future.

We have twin vanity sinks, and they were both blocked, indicating a block in the common drainage pipe. Tried to clear using a regular sink auger - but when I put the auger it into one sink, it simply passed over the common drain pipe, and came out of the other sink! Turns out this is a known problem for twin vanities, and to auger this kind of block, you need a specialized (drop-head) auger, which I don't have. So I bought this massive bottle of Drano, poured half down one vanity, and half down the other. Left overnight. Kettle of boiling water next morning - bingo !! Great product.

Worked well for me. I keep a bottle on hand when shower or kitchen sink drains slow. I try to put some in once a month so I don’t end up with a bigger issue. I think it says 15 mins but I do it before bed so it sits overnight.

Try this product immediately and it worked absolutely powerfully clean the drain made it completely clean water ran like magic. Thanks so much for a great product.

I believe this works better than the original Draino. I did have a pretty clogged drain that I had to use this twice. The second time, I let it sit for a longer period of time. I actually heard when it opened the drain! I bet I left it in for at least 2-3 hours.

It helps, but sometimes it takes multiple uses to make a difference.

I have always trusted the Drano brand but this product was a disappointment. I had a clog and followed the directions. Did not unclog it. Tried again and after plunging also, the clog finally cleared. I probably should contact them because they guarantee results but I am so tired after the clog ordeal I don't have the energy to do so!

after using the whole thing down my drain it still never opened it up was not a very good for me Liquid Plumber was better sorry to say it was not worth the money I paid for it I did save some of it to take back I also meant to say that I used it in the kitchen sink did not work is a dud
