Dremel 670-01 Mini Saw Power Rotary Tool Attachment Quick-Connect Attach System with Safety Guard

I actually want to review the US40 Ultra-Saw but could not find it in the list you provided. I purchased this saw about 2 months ago and love it. I wanted something smaller and more portable than a regular circular saw and this does the trick. Very easy to use, very versatile. Handles both big and small jobs easily. I no longer have to hand cut screws if their too long with the metal blades that it can accommodate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handy attachment, the guard works great for not allowing the cutting head to get buried in the material. Attaches to the Dremel and removes easily to change back and forth. The transparent guard is nice so you can see what your cutting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great addition to your rotary tool set, turning it into a small circular saw. It does the job, but be mindful of the blade depth and rpm. If the rpm is too high, the saw can get away from you quickly, so be careful! As the blade diameter is relatively small, you are limited to the thickness of the materials you can cut, but it cuts straight with a steady hand, and you can cut deeper with the cutting tool bit. I think it would be easier to use if the blade was rotated 90 degrees so the axis of rotation is perpendicular to the rotary tool, and the mechanics are more like a traditional circular saw (you can't use the 90-degree attachment... probably unsafe). This tool is for precision, and minor cuts, so don't buy this to cut 2x4s!

Having an ability to cut small pieces without the need for a large saw is a great time saver. Using the 670 Mini Saw Attachment saved the day. With only a few minutes of practice, I was soon ready to cut small strips from 1/16" laminate to make a roadway bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for a while now and I use it in tight places where I cannot get my bigger saws. The shield is great safety gear that protects the blade from inflicting injury. This is only one that I bought for my 4300.

Its ok...The mandrel and gold colored wood saw blade work much better. This saw attachment would be fine for ripping thin strips of wood but it bogs down easily and sounds like its cheaply built.

Only issue I had was the instructions. No where did it say what was included so I spent way too much time trying to find the screw and adapter only to find them in another package with more instructions. Using the arrow on the edge of the gaurd was pretty accurate.

I had no problem removing the original chuck and adding the mini-saw chuck. It has worked perfectly for over a year. However...I want to go back to using the standard attachments and now I can't figure out how to REMOVE this item. Have looked for videos online and fear I'll just have to reverse-engineer the original installation if you can't help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice safety design (shroud/guarding) and slightly angled head for ease of use with the Dremel tool. Cut was clean in wood trim but depth limited. Difficult to see where the blade was when trying to cut along lines. Had a tendency to try to "run away" during cuts - required very firm control and lots of trial and error on tool speed.
