The ez mandrel makes it as simple as 123 to change the type of head you're using. The mandrel works on a bunch of different heads which is great because once the mandrel arbor is fastened in all you have to do is a quick turn and release and put on a different head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Mandrel inserted into the Dremel, and placing the accessory onto the top of the Mandrel by pulling down at the top of the Mandrel, the accessory pops on, and you just twist and it's lock in place. It all become easy, fast, and magic. Ready to go. The system that works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product with a course sanding disc for an Halloween project. The sanding disc was used to sand a corner portion of a piece of wood. Very easy to use this the easy lock sanding disc and it saves lot of time not to have to use the little screws to attach discs. I will continue to use this every time for future woodworking projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the ez lock it's easy to set up and use. It holds the cutter so you don't have to worry about it falling off I was able to sand my whole bar in a day without gouging it like the other dremel sanders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this EZ Lock mandrel but I don't seem to use it that often. I guess I'm not changing back and forth between tools that often. I generally just use one thing when I use the Dremel. But it seems to be a very good, useful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well once you get the disc on. I had a problem getting the disc on. I could not hold down the sleeve very well to get the disc on. It took several tries to get it on. The pull down sleeve edge could be a little wider so a better grip can be made.

It makes any task that requires changing out attachments frequently (like sanding discs) so much easier and more controlled. The only thing I had a concern with was as the more I used it, the more the interlock clasps seem to wear down. All in all, I would definitely recommend having this this!
