WEN Rotary Tool Kit with Flex Shaft, 2305

This has the feel of a well built tool! I've only used it a little so far, but it seems to work very well and is quieter than others I have owned. There is access on the sides to replace the brushes for the motor, like you see on well built professional tools. The price was very good for what seems to be a very good tool. The only downside is the position of the switch seems to be a little odd, but I assume it will just take a little time to get use to.

I've been using a Dremel for many years, mostly for trimming my four English Setters' nails. The flexible attachment finally broke. So I looked around to buy a replacement and discovered I could buy this kit for far less. So I did. Flex attachment fits my Dremel perfectly and works like a charm. So now I have a back-up plus all the new grinding wheels. I can't comment on the power issue other reviews noted but I am very happy.

I bought this for my 86 year old mother in law. If she can handle, anyone can. She is impressed with the quality and functionality of this little tool. And she loves the fact that it has a carrying case. Dremel doesn't provide that except at a separate charge. Its light weight and easy to handle. Perfect for any age. Now she can trim the dogs nails, cut off a screw or nail she can't get out, and even sharpen knives or the blade on the mower. Living by herself, she can now do projects she would normally have to wait for someone to come over and do for her.

A fraction the price of a dremel. The flex shaft makes it all the better. Especially if you're using it for crafts. I researched this quite a bit before buying it. Most everyone rates it 5 stars.

Works super well, great value, price vs product. Comes with decent bit kit . Includes tool to lock the super extendo cuz tube lol and a multitool wrench flat head combo for same on rotary tool. Lock button for tightening head works well. Many dont and cant tighten much, cant recall brand but the common walmart red one ive never had the lock button work well. Let it run awhile on low though brushes dont need much breaking in these days, i still like tonlet stuff run. Self cools well, only semi negative is the extension tube useing cutting disc will heat up machine fast, suppose its for light jobs and needs a proper lubing. Anyhow seems like its gonna be a good one, taken proper use and maintenance.. Fingers crossed. Note purchased one of the extensions from amazon years ago, made a paded mount for machine keep quite stable etc, thing lasted 2mins came apart and whipped the crap out of me, 20k rpm braided cable tayow.. omg.. Think this ones safe...? lol

The WEN rotary tool performs well, especially considering the price vs. a Dremel (way over priced in my opinion as are most name brand tools). The flex shaft is great to work with and gives much more precise control than the unit itself. Overall a very good value for a functional rotary tool.

Wen Rotary Tool w/Flex Shaft arrived early in appropriate packaging,undamaged %26 clearly marked, delivered as insttucted. Tool is 2d purch.,good enough to buy again. Its consumables fade superqk but 4 $$, its borderline bully to whine about this deal.

If you are an occasional user who wants a tool that has the power to get the job done, this is the one to get. I had a cheapo Harbor Freight tool,and it lacked the power I needed to be effective. But this tool has plenty of power.

this would be my second Wen rotary tool. i bought this one after my other one eventually burned out after years of abuse. the durability is what brought me bacj to this brand. the downside to that is that this newer motor is not as strong as my last making it much more difficult to do what i need to do. but overall a decent machine

I used the tool on low speed the lowest speed it would do. I used it for a few minutes turned it off to readjust used it for a few more minutes stopped it I did this four times. The fifth time I turned it on the next day the slow speed was gone it would not turn on. I thought it was the electric so I checked that but, it was the tool itself now it only comes on under medium to high speed.
