Had to run it and figure it out by watching it work, by setting humidity to between 30 and 35% seemed to be the optimal settings to run in automatic mode. It selects the mist setting and levels it out and turns the light green when it is running optimal for automatic mode! Nice machine! For knowledge sake run warm mist mode. Cold mist usually leaves white mist dust all over tv screens and furniture and ect. Thanks Ron

The Dreo humidifier keeps my bedroom at a comfortable humidity level. The auto detect prevents the air from containing too much moisture in the air. Setting the humidity percentage, the ability to turn off the lights, and quietness make this a great humidifier for any room in the house.

I purchased a smaller version that said it was for medium to large rooms but it wasn't cutting it so I went with this one. It is very easy to use, quiet, and does a great job. Definitely a good deal and highly recommended. You are supposed to use distilled water. I used tap water for the first two weeks and switched over to distilled water. Distilled does seem to work better and will apparently keep the unit cleaner and extend its life. I purchased a distilling machine that also works well and is convenient. I don't have to go out and buy lots of bottles of water this way. Less plastic waste is good.

This is a great humidifier. I run it it my bedroom, and it's extremely quiet. Sometimes there is a little bubbling sound when using warm mist, though. It does a great job, and the sleep mode is excellent. I also like the design, especially the handle when refilling it. So easy to carry and place the water tank on the device.

Great Humidifier!. This puts out a ton of mist! Be prepared to refill every day. This vaporizes a gallon every 8 hours. The only issue is the need to clean it weekly. The filters get clogged with minerals from the water and if not cleaned regularly it makes more noise. It stills works even when it's full of minerals but no longer whisper quiet. I guess if you used distilled water this would not be a problem but that could be costly!

liked the fact that there are no additional filters to replace, and it uses regular tap water. I also liked the ability to select the vapor output, as well as the temperature of that output. very nice room humidifier, and would definitely buy another one soon. it also starts almost immediately. buy this, you won't be disappointed!🙂

The design and use is simple. This is easier to refill and clean than other popular humidifiers but there is one significant issue I had with this product, its loud, very loud. I have used several types of humidifiers in the past, and this is the loudest. It was the non-stop gurgling that caused me to return.

The warm mist setting makes a gurgling sound that is too loud to keep in one's bedroom at night. Difficult to fall asleep with that sound in the room. Otherwise, it's a very good humidifier, but mainly when using the cool mist setting, unfortunately.

I read reviews before I purchase. This one had reviews on how quiet it is but that is not true. It is quiet sometimes but more often than not, it sounds like it is bubbling from the spout where the steam comes out! I get up in the night to turn it off because it is so annoying. Steam is nice but the noise is loud! Will be returning. Yes, it is clean.

i got this to get rid of my smaller humidifier/diffusers and it doesnt compare to them at all. yes it holds more water but it uses that water in the same speed. 60h run time is on the lowest speed. you cant smell the oil AT ALL. AND AFTER 3 STRAIGHT DAYS of use now the machine wont turn on cause the water level sensor wont go off.
