Dritz extra thin straight pins
Finally found sewing pins thin enough to get through the cotton fabric easily. I bought some Fabany dressmaking pins so thick I can't get them into the fabric. I use paper patterns from PDF downloads %26 these Dritz pins go through the paper %26 double fabric easily.The white pin heads are easy to see. I recommend these pins %26 would definitely buy again.

Great Pins
These pins are nice and sharp, easily going through a variety of fabrics. Because the heads are made of glass, they don't melt when pressed...an added bonus

Easy to use and find these extra fine pins
I crocheted a lot of pincushions and purchased these to add to the pincushions when given as gifts. Dritz is a well-known brand that has been around for a long time. I've been using their products for at least 50 years and the quality is consistent. The glass bead heads make it easier to find if the pin falls on the floor or carpeting. Because they are extra fine, they don't leave holes in the fabric, nor do they catch on the fabric making them wonderful to work with. I used them to sew the "inserts" that I filled with crushed walnut shells and inserted them into the pincushion. They are 1 3/8” long from the top of the bead head to the point, which makes them longer than a regular pin. This makes it easier to find on a piece of patterned fabric or, in my case, easier to find on the pincushions.
