A friend of mine told me to try these scissors and they are the best scissors I have ever owned. It cuts my fabric like butter, whereas all the other pairs of scissors I've ever tried. I had to work at it and would rub a raw place on the inside of my Hand. I recommend these two every crafter and quilter out there!
I use these for fabric only and they are just awesome! I've been using them for a month now and they may have lost some sharpness right by the handle, but only a smidge. They are still sharp and cut like a hot knife thru butter. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat!
I'm very disabled. In the last few years, it's become harder %26 harder to use scissors. These scissors/clippers are great. I had 2 pair of them, back when I could "Paper Craft" (cards, scrapbooking, etc.) and they were invaluable. I got them again, recently, when I remembered they would help with my problems. If you need them, you'll love them. If you just want an easy-to-use scissor... these are what you want!
Best scissors I have ever owned. I do a lot of small sewing jobs in a few large ones and cutting the material. It goes like a knife through butter. I love them.
Great scissors! I used two pairs for probably 10 years or more and decided to purchase new. Even though the others were working fine the new ones (bought two again) are so much better. I love the lock and spring action. Great for anyone who has arthritis. I had forgotten how nice they are when they're new. However, they do last a long time and I'll still use the old ones. Fisker is the best! That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
I bought these as a back-up pair because I love the ones I bought over 2 years ago, %26 since nothing lasts forever, I wanted to have another pair in case by the time I need them, they're no longer available (the story of my life!). I have arthritic fingers--not bad, but enough that these scissors really are easier to use than traditional scissors. Try them; you'll love them!
I am excited to use these scissors with the spring. It will make, cutting batting so much easier on my hands
Thought I would upgrade from my OLD Grey Fiskars with spring handle to these, however the very first trial to unlock/lock was NOT intuitive. Old lock was inline with thumb on top of handle making it quick to use and keeps hand in same position, force to lock applied downward over blade. New: forces a change in thumb position and force to open/close lock causes twisting of the hand. OLD: Blades lay flat to table, easy to guide and cut. New: Blades raised up from table, no support from table to keep blade parallel, creates a wobbly cut. Old: Standard grip space. New: slightly longer grip with ergonomic shape.I do not like these!
They are really awesome scissors. However, the tab that keeps them closed broke on the very first day. So now they're just an open pair of scissors which isn't very safe. I might try to keep them closed with a rubberband but I doubt that works. Other than that, they cut everything perfectly and are great for both lefties and righties.
If I could give this zero stars I would! After only a few weeks of cutting these scissor are so dull don't even cut my fabric anymore!
