Like another reviewer said, I have been sewing for many years and had never heard of this hem gauge. I ran into it online searching for something different. Makes hemming much easier.

Cool sewing gadget!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is an unusual size so I frequently need to hem his pants. The hem gauge makes it a lot easier and my hems come out straighter. I haven't used it on a dress or skirt yet, but I'm looking forward to it! I wish I had gotten one of these sooner!

Wonderful hem help!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sadly didn't even know anything like this existed and I've been doing alterations and hemming for years now! This is such a big help with wide legged pants or for mens pants the prefer the taper in the front above the shoes.

Very Helpful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never actually thought I needed a hem guage, Boy was I mistaken!! I wonder now how I ever got along without one. The DRITZ EZY-HEM hem guage makes hemming easier and faster in my opinion becauce you have all of your measurements right at your fingertips.
