We bought this for my 81 year old mother-in-law...She is confined to using a walker to get around...She can no longer shower alone...The shower chair is big and sturdy...Her weight is 210lbs and there is still room in the chair...The chair arrived in a box...It was already assembled...All I had to do was unfold the frame and push the little pins with my thumb and the frame snapped into place...The wheels were already attached and make it easy for the aide to move her around in the shower to find the right position for showering...The cut out seat makes it very easy for the aide to reach the hard to reach spots for bathing...The chair is not made cheap at all...I almost bought the same chair at a medical supply store for $100 more...I'm sure there are better shower chairs out there but this one works just fine and gets the job done...

Good chair easy to move around. Easy to assembke and maintain

Was needing a rolling shower chair that I could Hoyer lift my mom into and roll into shower then Hoyer lift her out of. The Hoyer lift did not fit through bathroom door to get her to the original non rolling shower chair. This chair fit perfect through the door and was taller then other for my moms long legs and a padded seat so more comfy for her. All in all better then expected!!!

Only works on my tile floor not carpet. We have adjusted to that..

I use it as a shower chair and it works well with our roll in shower. The wheels don't roll well over throw rugs so we remove rugs before rolling into shower. I read many reviews regarding the locks on the back wheels and they are mostly useless but with my husbands help we can make it work. I don't intend to use it as a commode with bucket, but I did want to be able to roll it over the toilet. We have "high rise" stool in our bathroom and checked the floor to seat measurements before ordering to be sure it would fit. On arrival we found the brackets that are below the seat to hold the bucket are not included in the measurement and therefore did not fit over our stool. My husband was able to remove the brackets and now it fits over stool. It serves our needs now but with all things you get what you pay for and this chair is much less expensive than most other models.

Very slippery and difficult to control. Brakes didn't hold.

there's a reason that similar products are more expensive. This item is not sturdy and moves even with the brakes engaged. Craftsmanship is uneven. It is not a safe product.
