My 93 year old dad has been using a regular 4-wheeled walked for about 4 years. I just replaced it with this Drive Nitro Rollator. I had searched hard for a walker which had BIG wheels, because many times we walk where the pathway is not solid. The Nitro walker is great for using on grassy areas, or anywhere outdoors where the road surface is irregular. The front two wheels are HUGE, and even the rear wheels are larger than those on a standard walker. It also folds very easily, and the seat is perfect. My dad and I are both very pleased with this purchase, and we have received many compliments on his stylish new "ride"! Shipping was also very fast, btw!
I have previously been using a 3 wheeled walker which was great, until I had a fall and broke my femur. After having surgery on the leg, I find that I need a walker that offers more stability so I can build up my confidence again in walking. I cannot walk very far, so I like the seat. I ordered the hard seat as it makes it easier for me to get up from the sitting position, as opposed to the sling-type of seat. It is a very sturdy walker and is well worth the money. Also like the new champagne color! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am a stroke survivor. From the stroke, I was left with muscle weakness / control issues on my left side. I was walking with a cane but not for any length of time because I get tired pretty quickly. A regular walker was of no use to me because of my lack of hand strength and coordination. This walker is perfect because it rolls easily, it has a nice seat for when I need to sit, and I can fold it up with only one hand. This unit is actually my second unit, I keep one unit in my car, the non-deluxe version. It is also every bit as comfortable as this unit. I keep this unit here at home. I find I walk more, which improves my strength, which I find totally wonderful.
Great walker -- took it on a cruise and easy to use --- easy to store at the dining room -- light enough to get into the SUV -- and really sharp looking -- only thing it doesn't move well when it is collapsed.. needs to be open -- seat is quite comfortable and the back is nicer than the standard walker. Arrived long before projected date.. Great service!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very sturdy. The seat is very comfortable. The brakes work easily. What I like the most is the big wheels that make it easy to go over different terrain.
I use this rollator for taking walks I Walk over gravel and uneven terrain It works great. I love the seat and backrest. This is a very sturdy Rollator. I use my Zoom for going to doctors appointments and occasional shopping.- - because it is always clean (wheels mainly)The zoom is a great Rollator but didnt perform well on the uneven terrain where I take my walks. This Rollator maneuvers very well. I love that the brake cords are Concealed so there are no snags on anything. Very well built. Out of the box ready to go. Durable in every way. Folda so easy. This Rollator allows me to walk the trails around our farm with no problems. It has given me back an activity I love - outdoor trail walking
Product was totally assembled out of the box and ready to use. A very nice looking and sturdy walker. Very easy to fold and transport.
Good walker for indoors or outdoors. Light weight and easy to fold. I love the 10" wheels. The seat is weird. You can't lean back at all. You sit like there's a board on your back. Plus there's lots of hard plastic especially on the hand grips. Overall it's a good walker. But it does cost an arm and a leg. Now get outdoors.
This is a nice walker, although it is a lot heavier than a lot of walkers, due to the heavier frame and larger wheels. It is easy to push over fairly rough terrain, but difficult to go over even the smallest curb, as it has to be lifted. It is hard to get the front wheels off the ground to go over a bump or negotiate a curb. I like the idea of putting the brake cables inside the tubular frame where they can'g get caught on door knobs and other things. They are out of the way.
I like this walker , easy to adjust and use. It has a wider seat than many do. I only wish it wad a little lighter. this was the best price I found for this unit.
