I think I sold three today, two in Lutheran Medical Center and a third while out to lunch. Much lighter than usual 18" wheelchair. Smaller, 16", has added feature with allowing to lift arms out of the way. Otherwise, I would not be able to pick up things I've dropped, lol. Besides, it's a beautiful BLUE color!!
This wheelchair is very comfortable for a 5'9 male weighing 145 pounds. I added a seat cushion for optimal comfort. The essential requirement was to fit through narrow doorways and pathways in our small condo. The turn radius is great too! Some may complain about the effort needed to secure the break but it's not a problem for us.
It's fairly small which is good for me. I t maneuvers well, easy to turn and so on. Although I still can't get into my bathroom door tho. Haven't had to fold it yet. All and all it's a nice little chair.
Perfect fit if anybody is going on a cruise and need a wheelchair to fit through the basic stateroom. The 16 inch fit perfectly through the door last time I ordered an 18 and my husband had to manually pick my son up out the wheelchair to bring him through the door. I was so happy this chair fit.
I would rate this product as excellent. Walmart had this to me within 36 hours. I had to pay for quicker shipment but it was well worth it. The Wheelchair was easy to get around with.
very nice wheelchair very sturdy light weight chair very easy to add the legs rest I did buy a padded cushion for it I like the wheelchair easy to fold too
I've only used it a couple of times, but it seems fairly well made. It's definitely on the narrow side, but that is to be expected for a 16" chair. I'm 602/230 and I fit in (barely). If your slightly on the "wider" side, I'd def go with a 18" model or bigger. Nice part is the maneuverability of the narrower chair. My only real "gripe" would be that the tires are a hard solid plastic and are slippery on some surfaces. Maybe they will get better as they get more scuffed up from use.
Overall, this is a good value but it has some short comings that reduce it to 4 stars from 5. The I bought this for my wife. She had knee surgery so she has to be off her feet for months. My only gripe is that the foot rest and leg pad adjustment ranges are too limited. The leg pads can't be moved and are too close to the chair for comfort in my wife's case. They need to be further down toward the foot rests. Also, for a tall person, I think the foot rests might be too short at max extension. I am trying to figure out how to modify the leg pad rest so that it can be moved. It will not be easy.
Good quality wheelchair for the money. It was much smaller that we expected but it was good chair. NOTE that you cannot return this product to Walmart. The vendor also charges a 30% restocking fee and you pay to ship back. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company.
Shipping box had been opened and then taped shut. Missing elevating leg rests. No protective packing inside and the box was beat to heck. The order was delayed two days.
