Got this for the dog, he likes to jump up to the window and bark at delivery drivers. Needed something sturdy that wouldn't tip over like the plastic step stools did. It is pretty sturdy because he comes running at full speed to the window and jumps up on the step. It doesn't tip over. He weighs 70 lbs. Thanks

it is very sturdy and I use it for everything. I'm only 5ft 4in so it's great to look into my cabinets, also to reach my curtain rod. I also use it to get into my pick up truck

Item came fully assembled and in good shape and packaged well. Exactly as advertised. Well constructed and slip resistant with good quality all around, including the sturdy rubber feet and stable step stool top rubber design. Reasonably light weight and easy to move with good color and finish.

I use this in the bath tub. I am very old, and it makes it easy for me to come out of the bath and seize the plastic handle I also bought for security.

The step stool is sturdy and very stable. For climbing and sitting the moderate extended legs contribute to these safety features, which is the whole purpose of me looking for this unit. It exceeded my expectations and was priced right.

This footstool is probably fine for anyone looking for a secure way to reach an upper shelf. Given that it's made by Drive Medical, however, we bought it hoping it was the same as those used in a physical therapy setting. Not so. We found the top plate to be fairly thin across the support, making repeated step-ups feel less stable than desired. So yes, buy it if all you need is a simple footstool but not for anything more.
