Great for Gamer Bottom
You know what I mean.... After sitting for hours, your bottom can get numb. This cushion is very thick and has 2 layers inside; gel and foam rubber. I think everything costs too much now, but I've purchased several Drive Medical products and all have been quality made.

I needed the extra height that this cushion provided for me to be able to stand up out of my wheelchair after my R knee replacement surgery. My L side is affected with major weakness from a stroke over a year ago so I am in a wheelchair a lot.

Wanted a few inches of height and more comfort on a wheelchair seat. Found this cushioin through walmart.com and it is perfect for the job. Well made, quite durable but comfortable, and a great value at the sale price. Very nice quality at a nice price. I would recommend to anyone looking form more comfort in a wheelchair seat.

to help relieve my husband's pressure sores
As soon as the gel seat arrived (which was 4 days earlier than projected!!) my husband said that he was 100% more comfortable sitting in his wheelchair and the pressure was taken off of his tailbone.

it is uncomfortable.It says it will help with hip, back and tailb bone problem. And it has not. I believe it makes it worse.
