Amazing radio so far.

Terri March 4, 2025

This radio I put in my 2008 new beetle and let me tell you it fits amazingly. The apple CarPlay is amazing as well. I really like the way it looks and works in my bug. The 8 inch would've probably been better because if you have big hands, you tend to hit the side of screen when making a turn.

Nice for the money. Needs more install pieces

Joe February 3, 2026

Install was a breeze, as long as you have a good single or double DIN space already (I did). Could come with more brackets to mount, but I already had some of that also. Relatively easy to use, but some items like the home screen are not instantly intuitive, but once you know how to use it, it's easy to use and adjust. Sound is very good for this price point. Time will tell how stable and durable it is. I've had other brand units that start glitching after a year or so .

Great value!

Leobardo December 9, 2025

Honestly, other than the logo, it's easy to pretend this isn't a cheapo dual headunit. It works better than any eBay social (and I have a bunch of those haha). Even though it's not super cheap, but for this quality and this many features (not to mention not at all laggy) it's a great value. THE ONLY PROBLEM is that it gets really dim with polarized sunglasses. So I had to buy new sunglasses just for the vehicle this is in. First world problem I know, but still a minor gripe.

Excellent Stereo

Justin May 8, 2026

This is honestly a high end stereo for a mid-range price. I've put three after market stereos in my truck over the years, this one is by far my favorite. The audio output was unexpectedly loud for the price, the display is clear and very responsive. The only gripe I have is that I can't adjust between night and day mode if I have my lights on. When it rains, I turn on my lights and the screen thinks that it's night time, so the display isn't easy to see. I wish there was a setting that I can keep the stereo in day mode with my lights on in the daytime. But hey, nothing is perfect, this stereo is an excellent value for the price. Side note: Don't forget to install the parking brake wires, or else the stereo will not allow you to manage apps, because it thinks the vehicle is moving. If you do not want to splice your parking brake wire at the brake, you can bond the wire to any metal part of the body and then connect the wire to a switch before running it to the stereo. The switch allows you to control whether the radio thinks the vehicle is moving or not.

Install a bit of a hassle

Brandon March 11, 2026

This 10” stereo is great but one thing that is a bit of a hassle is the width of the single din unit that the screen plugs into. I bought the Scosche double/single din install kit from Walmart and had to trim the faceplate to actually fit the single din unit into the install kit. That is the only issue I had with this system. Outside of that I would recommend for a cheap and easy upgrade to the factory cd unit in your vehicle. I installed this unit into a 2014 Ford F350 XLT and it does not block any of the buttons for the ac/heat adjustments!

Not for vehicles with steering column gear shifts

Earl August 22, 2025

Where do I begin. After entering the vehicles information such as the make, model, and year, there should be suggestions as to what type of installation accessories are needed such as: wiring harness, antenna connection adapter, mounting kit, and door chime retention adapter will be required to complete the installation. The instructions merely suggest getting a professional installer to complete the installation. After days of research %26 hours installing everything, this kit is not a good fit for the vehicle it was installed in. The steering column gear shift rests on the screen when in park, reverse or neutral. Not practical by any measure. Also, when in radio mode, the system continues to seek out the next radio station and repeats the cycle once it reaches the last station. Quite a disappointment there. Overall, this system is not practical in vehicles with steering column gear shifts as the handle touches the touch screen and so does your hand with having to operate the gear shift.

Why you should NOT buy this!

LouieG January 2, 2026

You cannot see the screen during the day with polarized sunglasses!!! that is a big problem for me at least. The next biggest problem is the constant looping of the Factory menu from Apple CarPlay not working properly. It goes from Apple CarPlay to the system menu and then back to Apple CarPlay to only the music and not the split screen that it was on even with the latest update for the firmware. It also is very heavy for certain applications where it may vibrate or shake while stop at a traffic light or driving because of how big the screen size is. You're better off getting one of the boss audio floating display radios instead.

trash don't buy this

tmil May 7, 2026

it's trash, failed in less than 6 months. since I got it, it would randomly restart, at first every 30 minutes or so, now it's about every 15-30 seconds. not even worth trying the warranty, I have no faith at all in this company or it's products anymore and will never buy anything from them and will strongly encourage everyone I know to avoid them.

You get what you pay for

anonymous June 11, 2025

Less than six months of use and already does not work properly. Constantly disconnects and tries to reconnect wireless CarPlay. When revert to tuner mode will randomly start, scanning all stations and not let you stay on a specific station. Dual warranty only applies if the unit is professionally installed.

Glare Galore

Rey May 3, 2026

Nobody mentions this. The glare is so bad that it can double as a mirror. Doesn't help that the brightness is, at its highest setting, very dim. The sound quality is ok. Very low but ok for what you're paying. Everything else is what is expected for the price. But with the south texas sun, the glare is horrible. Need to warn others.
