I, as a single woman do all or most of my little repairs around the house. Since I have discovered the Duck Brand my life is so much easier. All of their products I have used so far are wonderful & easy and simple to apply. Got this door seal thinking it might be a problem but went on easily and stayed in place.....so happy with the price and on line availability....thanks to Walmart.com for great service.
I love this strip, totally blocked the noise from my outside door and the noise coming from my apartment. I used 2 (yes you have to buy 2 boxes) to completely cover my door. My door is standard size outdoor door. I also bought the weather strip that you put under the door to complete the whole process.
If you're patient, and take your time putting this stripping up correctly, you will not believe the difference. Literally night and day. The drafty door was so bad we were going to invest in a good storm door, then put this stripping up and the draft is completely gone! Even passes the candle test. We couldn't believe how brilliantly this stuff works.
This product is exactly what I needed. It adhered well to the door, I TOOK PAPER OFF ONE SIDE OF STRIPPING. LEFT THE OTHER SIDE JUST AS IT CAME, CLOSED DOOR & IT SEALED THE GAP WELL. NOW MY A.C. STAYS IN THE HOUSE. Fantastic product, bought another one in case I need it. BE SURE TO APPLY IT CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME, REALLY STICKS WELL. T.Y. FOR A GREAT PROCUCT.
I used this on all of my doors. It's easy to apply, looks appealing and sticks well through the cold winter months. It can be divided in two to make it go further. It's soft and pliable.
This really sealed up gap around door. Hey send enough to go around the whole door. Did have to super glue portions that keep coming off when opened door but it is a very good seal now.
Great door seal/ weather stripping. Installs easily and really sealed the gap. However it did not arrive until two full days after tracking claimed it arrived.
Not as stout as I expected. Good quality and suitable for small door gaps, just not big enough to fill the gap in my doorframe. It will do until I get a better seal. Easy to install it stays put on a clean surface. I expected it to be bigger. For small gaps about 3mm.
I am just putting this up in preparation for our first serious cold front coming in tomorrow and it appears that it's going to work very well. I bought two packages thinking it would be enough for my two exterior doors (see "Fits One Standard 3 ft x 7 ft door" on the back of package back). HOWEVER, it does not. Go by the front measurement which shows "...10' long". You would think Duck could correct either the amount of weatherstrip or the verbiage describing length! Might write more, but have to go to Walmart to get another package of weatherstripping!
It doesn't stay on when you open and shut the door it started hanging down every time I opened the door very disappointed
