works great used on the backside of my led strips and its still holding strong 2 months later no odd smell and easy to apply plus had some left over - i pulled a little portion off to reposition and still had good stick to it and it didn't leave a residue at the time .

It goes on a lot easier than I thought, its been 3 weeks and just as tight as when I install, we are in our windy months in Idaho and this is still like the day I put it on

i love the product..it is a bit hard to remove on metal surfaces..but maybe that's to be expected.? overall it good. wish walmart would carry a larger roll.I feel like I paid way to much for this small roll..

This is my first year of covering my windows and while I may not have done the best job, I'm happy with it. It looks ok to me. This Duck Brand Double-sided Indoor Window Kit Tape was easy to work with and it's holding up great. I bought 4 at the time but I'll be needing more. I was surprised how quickly 24' went so be sure to get more than enough or you'll be heading back for more. I put the tape around the window, measured and cut the plastic, then pulled the top layer of the tape off the top part of the window and maybe about 3 inches down on the sides. That helped me to get the plastic pretty straight on the windows I think. I had some old plastic that I can't see through so I need to get some clear plastic to cover the rest of the windows now. I'm looking forward to keeping some heat inside this winter.

I use Duck Brand Window Insulator Kits every year %26 I buy the Duck Brand Double Sided indoor tape rolls too. These are the same rolls of double sided tape that come in the insulator kits. I have been able to reuse some plastic pieces on various windows for a few years - just gently pull the plastic film off the window/tape %26 fold for later - the plastic will usually shrink again without a problem. I have even started to leave the plastic on part of the window with my window air conditioners - just gently pull the plastic up so you can access the bottom window, put in the AC %26 pull the plastic down %26 secure it on the bottom/sides %26 carefully cut the plastic around the front of the AC. I put tape around the edges of the air conditioner to secure it. I also started to put a small piece of the plastic film over the top sash window to help keep more air (%26 mosquitos) from leaking in from the track of the window - of course, securing it with the double sided tape. I love that you are able to easily get extra double stick tape to get as much use out of the insulator kits as possible!

It works well. It does take the finish off of painted windowsills, though. It's also pricey for the small roll you get.

What's not to like? It works well with putting plastic sheets up over windows! Goes on easy and removes with ease and no damage to surfaces!

I have been pleased with other Duck brand products, but not this one! The liner is the same width as the tape, and after the pull tab had been removed for the initial piece of tape, I found it impossible to disengage the liner from additional pieces of tape. I tried using my fingernail and a very thin and very flat blade knife, and nothing worked. The liner needs to be wider than the tape on at least one side so as to be able to find a starting point or way for the liner removal. The instructions on the packaging offer no tips on liner removal. I found this product to be very frustrating in efforts to use it and a total waste of money.

almost impossible to separate the paper backing from the adhesive side. Plus , the adhesive that is applied to the window frame is easily removable. I threw the whole kit away. Big waste of money
