I just needed some more duct tape and about the cheapest I could get this time cuz you know how it is out there, because of the duct work was never fixed where I rent and I cover the vents with tape cuz it's a real old trailer and I don't want bugs coming up through the vents you know what I mean because there's holes and stuff in the ductwork, we just do what we got to do what's the name of this it just duct tape brand
What can I say? Duct tape is indispensable; this roll replaces the used-up roll in my garden cart. I repair planters, garbage cans, 5-gallon pails, and will probably find more. The quality is good enough to hold on well and not tear/fall apart, but tears off the roll easily.
I don't think this is as good as it used to be. Maybe I've just used better since I last used the Duck brand but....it's not really easy to tear and the strings easily come out and make a bit of a sticky mess. Adherence may be about the same but the stringy leads me not to recommend.
Not the heavy duty duck tape I remember. Much lighter and not as sticky. But everything changes , I guess. Be good for light duty items like paper taping, but not for heavy duty taping of say, plastic sheeting to an aluminum storm door, in the dead of winter.
Not very sticky. I bought several of these tape rolls while my last litter of pups was using potty pads. I tape the edges to each other and the floor to help contain any mess. This batch of tape rolls did not stick. I was careful to only put the tape on the plastic edge of the pad-not the absorbent part, but no luck. I use a tarp under my puppy area and the tape wouldn't stick to the tarp either- even after mopping and letting it dry before resetting the puppy pads. The adhesive was not adequate at all.
this has to be a defect because it was thinner than paper didn't stick to sh¡ and I've had better dollar brands I've always loved and used the brand ducktape till this roll I'm switching to gorrilla
This duct tape is garbage. It doesn't tear easily, splits down the middle of the roll when you try to tear it. You must use scissor to cut it if you don't want half a strip. It's transparent and is impossible to use. Duck brand usually makes good duct tape. Buyer beware. Returning it.
Whoever is in charge of quality control is failing-still. This used to be such a great product. I had multiple rolls of Duck Brand duct tape - in my garden stuff, in my garage, in my utility room, in my camping stuff, in my truck… I stopped buying it because the quality plummeted. It doesn’t tear evenly, leaves little stringers, is so much thinner than it used to be, very weak product that doesn’t stay ‘stuck’….just garbage and it is so FRUSTRATING to use. I had switched to Gorilla brand and T-Rex also. They work great. I’m not sure why I decided to try Duck tape again. I guess I was hoping they figured out their bad decisions and decided to be a good product again. I was disappointed. Just as crappy as when I left the brand in the first place. Back to Gorilla or T-Rex for me.
This isn't duct tape. It's thin, translucent, and doesn't stick to anything. Won't even stick to plastic or paper. Don't know what you could actually use it for. It definitely isn't duct tape. The roll makes a decent paper weight, I suppose. I'll try to upload some photos to show just how thin and non-gluey this junk is.
This is by far the WORST duct tape I have ever used. It is NOT sticky - it won't stick to anything I put it on. It constantly "pops" off and has to be pressed back down but still does not stick. The older Duck brand tape I have was much better, but this stuff is junk. Now I have three rolls of garbage tape and no use for it. The no-name brand is heavier and stickier. The photo shows generic duct tape, old Duck tape, and the new Duck tape (left to right). It is so thin, you can see through it! Don't waste your money like I did.
