Cream Cheese frosting goes with so many different cake mixes. Today I made a triple-chocolate cake mix and added the cream cheese frosting! It was so yummy!!

This is an easy 5-star for me. No, it doesn't beat homemade cream cheese frosting, but honestly, nothing premade really does. That said, this is by far the closest I've found. The flavor is rich, creamy, and genuinely delicious. When I want a good cream cheese frosting but don't feel like making it from scratch, this is what I reach for every time. No other premade frosting even comes close in taste. You can't beat the convenience, and the quality is excellent for a store-bought option. I always keep this on hand for when I want great results without the extra work.

frosted a strawberry cake with it. it tasted great on the cake. it's thick but reasonable to work with. hadcto be careful not to tear the cake open. i recommend this

This icing is so good on red velvet cake, plus so much more. It's great on cookies and brownies. The rich cream cheese taste is complimented by its smooth texture. Easy to use.

It is a decent premade icing. However, it doesn't have very much cream cheese taste. More of a plain vanilla. It was a good base for me to add my own extra ingredients and whip it to go farther. Good for the price.

I bought this frosting for a chocolate cake however, I found the taste and smell to be nothing like cream cheese. There was a strong plastic chemical scent upon opening. I've tried other Duncan frostings but this one really disappointed.

I just bought this. I tasted it and I would NOT buy it again. I am 74 years young. I have use Duncan Hines cake mix since I started baking. My mother used it too. Nothing else. I have used another brand of icing when I didn't make my own. This whipped cream cheese icing is, to put it nice, is nasty. I will NOT ever use it again. It say artificial flavor. That is to say the lease. I thought, it must be out dated. No, can't use that excuse. 2026 is date on container. Has no taste like cream cheese. Hate to use names but Betty Crocker has yall hands down when it comes to icings. Sorry, but it is bad tasting.

I bought this today to make cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. I don't like the taste and smell. It has an old oily taste and smell to it. Expiration date says best by Sept 29, 2026. I had to double check the expiration date, because I thought maybe I took a expired container.

This tasted of sugar and chemicals! I don't know which of the multitude of ingredients was supposed to taste like cream cheese but it was a very poor imitation. I frosted my daughter's birthday cake with it-she took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. This is absolutely false advertising with the added insult of tasting terrible.
