Thank you so much for the super quick delivery, we are in for more extreme weather, rain and snow and low temps. This heater came undamaged and took very little time to set up. We let the kerosene soak into the wick for an hour or so, our choice. Followed the instructions and came on safely and bright. I turned our home heat off, and left the kerosene heater on for a while and it kept our home 3 bed 2 bath very comfortable, getting really warm 78°. So the testing is done for now. Actually feel better knowing I have this heater, just in case. We have in a safe area in our house.Thank you for letting UPS deliver to us, it got here quickly, undamaged and updated on the tracking. Have a safe weekend 😊
The heating is awesome this is not my first time using this heater but my only issue is the prices because of the weather and price gauging is wrong otherwise I would be happy to purchase another
this was exactly what I was looking for. i wanted something that would heat my friends whole place. this does. she has no form of heat in that house. all she had was electric space heaters. now she will not have to use them. this heater was a life saver. we both love it! i bought 2 of them when i got this.
Easy to use and heat up that 800 ft.² of your house so you don't have to worry about the electric going off because you're having an emergency heat source maybe old-fashioned but it works great
Glad we ordered heater 🫶🏼
This heater works well and is able to heat a large living room.
have not used yet got it in case of emergencies
We are using this as a supplementary heating source for our home when the electricity/heat goes out. K-1 is over $6 a gallon in WV so, using this type of heat is not very cost effective anymore. (Remember when k-1 was only $1 a gallon?) The heat coming from this heater is OUTSTANDING! I used this as a heating source from my uninsulated garage during a recent blizzard. I ran it for about 6 hours, and it used a 1/2 TANK of fuel. It quickly heated a 38-degree garage to 55 degrees in about 2.5 hours. My garage is 400 square feet. (12-foot ceiling) It should heat our house pretty well and quickly. You do have to install the protection cage around the stove as it doesn't come uninstalled in the box. It was a minor annoyance as the stove is 98 percent intact in the box. Why not go the rest of the way? Also, when I first lit it, the wick was not installed correctly causing a tremendous amount of black smoke. It took me about 20 minutes to figure the problem and fix it. Overall, I am pleased with this heater. You will get a kerosene smell in the area that you are burning it in. This is part of the reason why we use it for an emergency heat source and the price of K-1 is ridiculous.
The only thing we don't like is the fumes. the wick burns high flames on low . going to have to adjust wick before using again. Other than that it kept our mobile home of 3 bedrooms and 2 bath warm.temp outside was 17 degrees. kept our HVAC from running all night.
I'm happy with the heat but the wick I have had some issues with
