only had it a month or so, but so far works flawlessly. perfect for one person stir fries and stove top one pot meals. might order another one to be able to cook more at once. One more is all My electrical can handle. using a large and very heavy creuset glazed iron skillet, I did manage to create a small chip in the glass surface, but not in the cooking zone. no cracks or anything spreading, like on a vehicle windshield, and it doesn't affect the heating at all as far as I can tell. I was probably just sloppy handling that heavy thing. from my experience so far, I would highly recommend. ... shipping was fast and accurate.

I love induction cooking but moved to a house with gas range. Rather than go through the expense of tearing out cooktop, and since I don't cook much, I got this single burner. … love it.

Replaced an identical older product that lasted 7 or 8 years. New item had a couple of handy minor improvements.

I wish I had know about this brand a year ago. This induction burner lets you fry and does not stop heating.

It is designed to be inexpensive, yet be able to heat a pan and cook food. It does that. You can select a pan temperature, and engage a timer that counts down and turns off the heating action. It is better than a traditional hotplate, and I would say it is probably safer as well.

It gives off a high EMF rating and you can't get far enough away to mitigate that and still be able to use it. Also, it sits too high on my counter top to cook comfortably on it. (I'm 5'6") When it starts heating it buzzes for several seconds but then quiets.

Works okay but cheaply made…lots of plastic that is not going to last. It will do…for now. Would not recommend. I have another induction burner I bought years ago that is of much better quality.

I bought it specifically for Dutch oven deep frying. It took more than 45 minutes for 4 quarts of vegetable oil to reach 350F. After the first batch, I waited 10 minutes for the oil temperature to return to 350. 4 batches of 6 onion rings took more than 40 minutes to cook.

can't find any pots and pans to use on it. don't have any cast iron and Walmart does not carry any pans that would work on this other than cast iron. I'm an older woman trying to avoid catching my house on fire. thought this would work great but unable to use it
