The instructions are pretty straight forward, just carefully read them a few times beforehand. Assembly was very simple. A Phillips screwdriver is all you need. Once I figured out how to work the priner button, I was able to light it and keep it lit. The 3 settings for low, med and high or perfectly adjusted. I used it in 24 x 30 metal garage with one garage door up, and it worked great. I'm actually looking forward to the winter now, just to get my monies worth out of it. For a first time user, I recommend this heater.

Bought this product as a Christmas present for my husband after I saw one in use at my brother's. Lights easily, gives off plenty of heat...enough to keep a modest group of people nice and toasty, and is economical regarding propane usage (patio versions really burn through it). As a rule it doesn't get very cold for very long in our part of Florida, but it comes in quite handy on those nights when it does, especially if we are hunting or camping. My husband is very pleased with it. I love that it's 360 and people don't have to push each other out of the way to warm up a little. Well worth the price.

In AZ. our horses live in Phx during the winter and in the mountains during the summer. In the winter, Wife works in the barn where it is 10f to 50f eash day. She uses one stall in the barn to do her artsy-fartsy stuff. The barn, open on one end and covered, is real big and has more than a few stalls. It has a heated tach room, bathroom and workshop. But the hallway and stalls are NOT heated. I bought her this 40k heater and a 100 gallon propane tank and she is as happy as a clam and so am I. She says she actually has to turn it down when it is about 30-45f because she gets hot, which ain't a bad byproducrt as far as I am concerned!

I bought this as a CHRISTmas present. It works great, puts out a lot of heat even on the lowest setting. I'm now going to buy one for myself too.

I would've gotten one of these last year if I had known they had them. Heats up my garage in about 1/2 hr(two car garage. Heats up to where it's comfortable. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone.

I have a 24 x 24 foot garage with a 10 ft ceiling. It is insulated. When it is in the 30's outside it only takes about 15-20 minutes to make the garage toasty warm. Very happy with this purchase. Having a ceiling fan in the garage helps distribute the heat.

I purchased the heater several weeks ago and it was easy to assemble.and I've used it a few times and have been very satisfied. I have a two car (uninsulated) garage and with temperatures below freezing, the heater has warmed up the garage to a very comfortable temperature within a few minutes on the low setting. I love the 360 design. It doesn't matter where you are in the garage, the whole space is warm. The only thing I don't love is you have to light it with a match or lighter. I wish it had an ignightor like on a gas grill or camping lantern. Other than that, which is no big deal really, it's great!

Effective heater in my garage. Not quite as powerful as I needed but takes the winter chill off in my three car free standing garage. Be aware that you need to vent to some degree. Tight construction requires apartial opening (window, door, etc.) to operate safely.

This space heater was easy to assemble. It took some time to get it to lite though. If you bypass the burner hole and put the match to the element it fire right up. Overall good buy for the price

Pros - does a great job heating 360 degrees lights easily and is portable Cons - wish it had an igniter have to use a lighter, takes a little longer for thermocouples to heat and keep gas on compared to a different brand I have. Overall great heater for the money.
