I ordered this bicycle on-line, had it delivered to our local Walmart, and they assembled it for free. Perfect! Plus, our granddaughter loved the bike!
My 6 year old and 8 year old have this same size bike and they both love it. It's a perfect fit.
We bought this for our 4 year old. It is nice to have a bike without characters all over it. It was shipped quickly and went together easily.
Bought for my 6 year old. Did not assemble training wheels. My daughter loves the Bicycle. Super cute! One of the very few options without the pom poms. My child does not like pom poms on the handle bars so this was perfect!
I bought this bike for my 5 year old because her 12 inch bike was too small. I bought it because it had training wheels but it turns out she doesn't need them; disappointed that it didn't come with a kick stand (I assume because it had training wheels). It would have been good if it came separately, to attach when training wheels are no longer being used. Assembly was not difficult, I did it alone and I am not used to building things so if I can do it, anyone can! Other than that, my daughter and I have no complaints, she's very happy!
Sturdy, comfortable and just the right size
Only complaint I have is that since it came with training wheels, a kickstand was not included. Once the training wheels come off, you have to buy a kickstand for the bike.
The tires are garbage. They are Nylon tires, not rubber. They have bad grips on smooth surfaces. My daughter's riding is getting better, and she is getting faster after one month. One day when she's riding outside in a park, she fell with the bike to one side, because the tire slipped. She cried and we are lucky that she doesn't get hurt much. I examined the road condition and the tires for some time, and believe this was the tire problem, as you can see from the pictures. The nylon tires are bad. I have to buy a pair of BELL 16" tires from Amazon to replace them myself. So if your child is a fast sport learner or a serious rider, don't buy this one, except you don't mind to change tires yourself. The first picture is the original tires. Look at the pattern. The second picture is the new BELL rubber tire $12.66.
My daughter got this for her birthday. During the third use one of the training wheels broke off and when I looked closer at the other one it was coming apart too. We kept it stored out of the sun and rain because I was afraid of it breaking from weather and yet I still had to suffer the disappointment of it breaking apart after only a few uses. If you do not need training wheels it works well for a bike but I would not trust the training wheels on this one.
