Ebony, Varathane One Step Interior Wood Stain + Polyurethane, Semi-Gloss -384359, Half Pint

I needed a tray to use on my new couch. I found a very cheap natural wood one. However, i wanted a darker finish to match my other living room furniture. I don't have much experience with paint or stain. I was able to follow the included instructions with no issues. The project was done within 30 minutes. The stain dried quickly, within an hour. I was able to use the tray on my couch same day. I have been using this tray for about 2 weeks for my 2 young kids and so far the stain is holding up great. I may add a second coat at some point, but for now I am satisfied with the color and finish. I still have plenty of stain left in the car for future projects.

Used this to revarnish my rocker that has been passed down through my family. The Texas sun had not been kind to it, but this poly really gave it a new lease on life. Very happy with this product.

The color of this stain is fantastic. Applying it is straightforward and fairly simple, but it is easy to make the coat too thick if you're not careful. It's an easy fix, though. Overall, it's really good, goes on well, and dries fast.

not opaque if that's what you are looking for. translucent, gets darker with more coats. was just what i needed. Let's the wood grain show through.

I've ordered this product several times now and I needed it super fast this particular order so paid the extra money to have it delivered in a shorter amount of time. It's a great, beautiful stain and application is a breeze.

Beautiful! It was a little shinier than I thought it would be. But results are nice.

One coat was not enough, it left splotches. Applied a second coat and it was horrible. Traditional varnish and stain is much better because I found it added more time than saved on my part.
