Eclipse Phoenix Solid Color Blackout Rod Pocket Curtain Panel, Set of 2, Black, 37 x 84

The following review of the Eclipse Phoenix Axel Print Panel Pair is based on personal opinion & experience. I tend to get bored with the same look and like a refresh when the seasons change. We are currently in summer's peak & having blackout curtains are a necessity to fight the heat. What I Like: * Pattern is very elegant, gives an oriental vibe and captures my eyes attention * Material has a medium weight not so heavy that it will pull the curtain rod down yet thick enough to be effective in blocking out sun rays * I'm so thankful the Phoenix Axel is a pair vs one panel. It's really frustrating when I finally find a look/pattern/style I like and then there is only one panel included or the second one is sold out. * Blackout on the back will definitely make a difference when trying to darken a room in order to keep it cool. * Loop for inserting the pole is pretty wide making it easy to slip the pole through, however, after mounting the curtains are a bit resistant if I need to adjust (open/close). Overall, the I really like this curtain set and would recommend. The pattern is beautiful, I really like the oriental vibe they give and they definitely make a difference and help in keeping my room cool.

Eclipse Phoenix Jacobean Blackout Panel Window Curtains are made with quality materials, and have a beautiful print. Pocket rod for super easy hanging. Not a complete black out but cut all the glare by diffusing the light. Best of all, dropped the room temperature by about 10 degrees !!

I have an allergy to the sun, and the eclipse phoenix solid blackout curtains are not true blackout curtains. They are more room darkening than solid blackout. I have spent so much money on buying "blackout curtains" that it's becoming ridiculous. Like these, they always say, "solid black out or 100% blackout/privacy" and they turn out not to be as advertised! These, like others are more sheer than they tell you. I can say that these are not as sheer as the mainstay curtains, but they are about 15%-20% sheer and still see through. Ugh, so disappointed! Pic for reference. On a good note, these are very nice, heavy, soft and look great but not at all "blackout or privacy" curtains. Do better Eclipse, as I had high hopes.

I do Not like these curtains at all. They are thin, fabric feel cheap %26 poor quality. They are supposed to be darkening but in the day they are borderline sheer. I can see through them and I had my hubby go look and he could see a really good silluete of me. I got them to help keep the street light and cars headlights from illuminating my room so much but my old set were better than these. The size is accurate so that’s a plus I guess

Package claims this is total blackout and I believed paying the higher price would get me total black out, but these failed. As you can see from the picture it is darkening but not even close to “total black out”

The advertised 100% blackout is 110% false! A Dollar Tree piece of tissue paper would work just as well. They looked legit in the package and the color is good. Do not be fooled… they are horrible for the purpose they are suppose to serve.

In what universe is this 100% Blackout??? If light is able to come through, it is not 100% blackout. I am very disappointed. I wanted to replace a pleated curtain set that was on a track. This set had been here when I bought the home. So i had to remove the track and replace with a rod. Now the original blackout curtains can not be put back up without replacing rod for track again. So I will be forced to purchase another set of curtains that ARE 100% BLACKOUT!

They're pretty and all but they do not block out the heat or light... if anything, they absorb the heat and put it off into the room like a little furnace... The material is also different than I expected, snags very easily. Took forever to arrive, also. Ill be having to order something else, these were a waste of money.. The ONLY plus is that they do seem to be well made.

Nice black curtains but these are not blackout in the slightest. They are very sheer/thin and have no backing on them. If you just want black curtains for the look, these will work. But id you actually want any darkness/light blocking these are awful.

Barely even light filtering. Their customer service is non existent. So disappointed because I got 2 sets and they don’t block light at all. I have to sleep during the day and these curtains are defective. I’m pretty sure they are missing a layer. I’ve tried contacting the company several different ways through social media and email and gotten no responses.
