It's still a paperback, so you can't write on it like you would a clipboard but it doesn't weigh down my bookbag at all. The paper is thicker than the notebook paper I'm used to as well, so even with it being a paperback, I know it's going to hold up well no matter what I get up to with it.

Really good quality paper, very cute design, standard size to take notes in. Can see this being really great for a middle schooler but will still definitely use as a college student lol. The only gripe I have is how it says "notes" on the front as it seems redundant and impacts the aesthetic.
