I am so glad that this EcoSmart Natural insect killer granules are perfect for my lawn and garden. These are safe for children and pets. We use the backyard so much and I prefer using something that is safe. This insect killer is effective and works well. It doesn't smell bad. I am very happy about it.

Simply put it in a hand spreader or glove your hand and spread around shrubs and the house foundation. It has a great smell (not chemical) and works really well! It is easy to spread with a spreader around the shrubs and house foundation.

We try to use all natural products in our home so I was excited to give this insect repellent a try. It's almost like salt grains with a grainy texture. It's an all natural product that's safe to use around your home for children and pets. This was very important to us as we have small children and ducks that wander around the outside of the house. You can definitely smell the wintergreen in the product as well. We used a grass seed spreader to help spread this around the outside of the house. It has seemed to help with the constant stream of ants that seems to March into our home.

The Ecosmart Natural Insect Killer had the consistency of sawdust but a little heavier. This product is safe to use around children and pets. This product has a light smell similar to sawdust. My husband made sure to line our property line with the product and put the product by the front and back porches.

They are safe for pets and children and they keep mosquitos away like magic. Thank goodness for products like this that take care of our needs without overwhelming us with unnecessary chemicals.

I am very happy I got this product, I follow the instructions and man have I seen my lawn improved. Not only have the bugs, worms and fleas completely disappear but the grass is also greener and fuller and I do believe it's because of this product even where I had patches or very little grass now looks fuller.

We've had a ton of ant hills pop up in our yard this season, which we've never seen before. I was excited to try the EcoSmart Natural Plant Based 10 LB Natural Insect Killer Granules. For me, the most important thing was that this product was safe to use around people and pets as our family and our dog is constantly in the yard. I've applied it one time so far, and it appears one smaller ant hill has completely disappeared from our grass. I used it on another very large ant hill, and there is still quite a bit of activity so I just applied another round. The packaging does say multiple applications may be necessary so this did not surprise me. I love that this product is environmentally friendly and so far has been effective.

The ten-pound bag by EcoSmart which is used to kill insects was something I wanted to try out with reservations. Anytime I put down some kind of lawn killer I worry about kids, pets, wildlife, birds, squirrels, rabbits. I feel these insects are needed to feed other wildlife populations. On that note this Insect killer comes in a nice package that is really strong and easy to move around my garage. The bag is quite thick and there isn't any dust that leaks from the bag. To me that is a very big deal because I don't want the smell of the product in the garage or on my garage floor or for that matter on myself. I give the packaging a definite 5 stars. The instructions get 5 stars also as the directions are exactly as I would like. The instructions are on the back of the package and in large print and quite easy to read and understand. I would recommend a broadcast spreader that is accurate and puts the correct number of granules on the lawn. If you read and follow the directions this product will work well. For example, I have a Scotts Turf builder edge guard DLX Model 76232 spreader. The Eco smart package then tells me to adjust the setting to number 2. Dump the bag in the spreader and I was ready to go. The company recommends application when its dry outside and not use before a rainfall. I think this is the opposite of grass seed which needs moisture or a quick rain or sprinkler usage. The product kills Ants, aphids, ticks, crickets, fleas, flies, and mealybugs. (It doesn't mention mosquitos. I wish it did as we have to many of those and not sure how that would help with them.) To conclude: I'm not sure how enthused I am about using a pesticide. However, this one seems quite good. I like the granule idea, the packaging is strong and reliable, the instructions are excellent, and the price is very reasonable.

This product works pretty well at getting rid of bugs. I use it on our block wall to get rid of the millions of clover mites that crawl all over it. The only problem is that you have to use it when you're having a dry spell, as this stuff is useless if it rains.

Eco smart insect killer granules 10lb bag. I received this product for free in exchange for a review. This product is supposed to kill bugs bug apparently does not work on ants. Being granules I thought it would work over time and keep the ants away but it did not seem to do anything. I sprinkle quite a bit of granules over and around a ant hill in my back yard a week ago but the it's still a thriving ant community so it's not working. I will say this stuff smells toxic so try not to lean too close to the open bag when using and I did wear latex gloves so as not to get any of it on my hands. I'm kind of disappointed I was really hoping it would get rid of these ants I have been trying to get rid of for a few years now. I don't recommend this product for ants, not sure if it works on other bugs. I would not buy it.
