Educational Insights Design & Drill Take-Along Toolkit

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 yr old nephew...he loves it--age appropriate for him with room to grow...happy with my purchase and Walmart had it the cheapest!

I would highly recommend this toy to a child. My 4 year old and 20 month old both use it quite a bit. I only wish there was a place to store the screwdriver when it' snot in use

This toy is a great educational tool for my kids, it helps them to use their young minds to think and be creative. It is also very good in increasing tier fine motor skills. The only con to this is that it can get boring because there's no music which kids love and there could have been more colors. Overall my kids love because they now feel like daddy working and using a screwdriver which for them is very fun.

I gave this to my child to play with so I could review. It was a hit in my home!!!! This toy had my childs attention for hours! The drill actually works and you can drill the toy bits etc. It's do much fun and my child enjoyed every minute of it and carries it everywhere! I highly recommend! This one is going to be a hot item for Christmas!!!

The Design & Drill Take Along Kit is a very fun toy that kids of many ages will enjoy playing. The case makes keeping the pieces together easier and helps maintain an organized space. Given how many little screws there are though it is a great travel toy to use in your lap, it can become a bit messy and it is easy to drop pieces. I'd love to see some pattern cards but for free creation this is perfect. It's sturdy and well made and the drill is perfect for little hands. It's a great toy that we really enjoyed playing with.

My 3 year old loves this toy!!!! He got it yesterday and seriously has not put it down since. He even slept with it last night haha! It very interactive and help his hand eye coordination. He loves that he can pack it up and go anywhere and everywhere with it and get to "drilling." Definitely a must if you have a toddler that loves tools or even a big kid, it has also been keeping my 9 year old entertained.

I thought my daughter would love this toy. She is very organized and has to finish what she starts. She screwed all the screws in and hasent touched it since. The screwdriver doesn't drill very fast so maybe she was bored halfway through. I guess it just depends on the child.

My young ones love this toy because it was fun to play with especially with the fully functional screwdriver. The younger ones love the repetitive play of screwing the different colors to make a pattern or sometimes randomly but the older ones got tired after a few minutes of playing with the younger ones. I like that the toy is gender neutral for both genders can enjoy and play with the toy. Two cons is the latch doesn't secure to take the kit on the go and I found the battery compartment for hard to open. Overall fun toy we got an extra one to give as a gift during the holidays.

This can be a good tool for helping with motor skills. They have to use their hands to tighten and loosen the bolts. The drill only works when it wants to. I think the battery compartment is not made correctly and the batteries do not keep contact. If you shake the drill and tap it down it may work. I am planning on returning this.

I read so many negative reviews on drill/screwdriver never working but took a chance because this is perfect fine motor toy I was looking for.. bad mistake.. straight out the box it never worked and I will return it..
