Learning Resources Pretend Play 3" Long Tape Measure - Kids Construction Toys, Ages 3+

This is such a fun measuring tape. My kids always want to measure things, and this is a great tool to be able to use. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but very durable. It's pretty big (not the size of a normal tape measure), but that seems to make it easier to use.

It's perfect for preschool age children that are interested in measuring. Child loves going around and getting measurements on everything!

My child absolutely loves this tog, and it is also a toddler favorite all around—when kids come over to play I always hear the sound of the tape measure unrolling! It's a well loved toy for sure!

Granddaughter loves it. Helps her dad measure things.

It wasn't the quality I would have liked it to be

The tape is made up of flimsy plastic that curls up as soon as you pull it out to measure anything. Kids would get very frustrated trying to measure anything with this. It seems like it'd be hard for a small child to pull the tape out with each click and then the fact it doesn't stay straight makes it pretty useless. The plastic body also feels very cheap. I'll be returning this one and trying a different brand/design.

Very cute, however, the turning mechanism only works one way, and my son expects it to work both. Once he got it down, he loved it. But that did take a bit!

My son was disappointed how short the measuring tape is and disappointed that he had to roll it back up instead of it slowly retracting like a real tape measure.
